The FANDOM Games

Region Four

"It's rather nice of you to drop in on your mother during the Games Ash." Began a red head girl wearing denim shorts, red braces and a soft pastel yellow blouse.
"Thanks Misty. It means a lot when you compliment me because you are always putting me down." The one called Ash responded. He was traveling back to Pallet alongside his two great friends Brock and Misty as well as their Pokémon.
"Ash, is your mother young?" Brock cautiously asked not looking him in the eye.
"I guess. Why do you ask Brock?" Ash was puzzled at why his mother's age was important to his friend.
"No reason. Just curious." He blurted in a rush his cheeks going crimson.
"Brock you seriously aren't considering dating Ash's mum! That would be super weird!" She was trying to sound angry but really she wanted to laugh at how pathetic her friend was.
"Brock! My mum is a little bit too old for you. Plus shouldn't you be more worried about being chosen to be tribute?"
"Pica pica!" Ash's Pikachu cheered as if to say 'hear hear!'
"I'm not worried about being chosen to compete this is the biggest region out of all! It will most likely end up some kid from Aloha. They always get chosen."
"Yeah I guess, but last year some kid named Clemont was tribute along with Gary Oak. I guess it just makes you worry a little bit more that's all."
"It's not like you to be scared Ash." Misty mused. She made it her duty to irritate Ash with any chance she got.

"I'm not scared!" Ash remarked, his jaw clenching, "I'm just worried about Pikachu, that's all. I mean if I did get in." He hoped they didn't see through his lie. "I'm starving, how far from Pallet are we Brock?" He was trying to change the subject.

"We can see it Ash, there's your home town." He pointed straight ahead. Ash darted off to get to his house, he'd secretly missed his mother, a lot. 

"Wait for us Ash!" Brock called before both he and Misty took off.

"Hmmm. I wonder how we should catch Pikachu. We have tried so many things I don't know what we have left." James mused. 

"Come on we gotta' get Pikachu whilst the twerps are all worried about the Games." Meowth raved, "It'll be a piece of cake." 

"I think we should wait until they choose the tributes and steal all the tributes Pokemon while they are busy." Jesse suggested, "Surely one of them will have something worth our while." 

"You know it'd be hilarious if you two get chosen as tributes. You two killing each other is something I'd pay for any day." Meowth joked. Both Jesse and James started yelling at him. Unknown to Meowth they had agreeed that if one was chosen as tribute the other would volunteer as well, so they had at least one loyal ally. 

I probable should have said this at the start of this chapter which seasons I have chosen. As I haven't seen all twenty seasons of Pokemon I chose Indigo League (also that is my favourite season, and I am most familiar with it) but because no one ages in Pokemon (not Ash, Team Rocket, Brock or Misty) I figured characters from other seasons would be the same age as Ash even before he meets them. 

So who will end up a tribute? Will we have to prepare for trouble and make it double? And does anyone know who will win? Have I guess...
