Dick POV

*next day at school*

I walk up behind Barbara.

"Hey." I say.

"Hey. So how much trouble did you get into after I left?"

"I'm grounded pretty much until I'm 80."

"That's why I didn't want to come. And sorry I told Bruce it was you."

He shrugs. "So where's Jack?"

"Don't know, don't care. Why?"

"I have some butt kicking to do."

"Dick! No, you can't do that! Just stay out of it, please."

"That jerks gotta pay for what he did to you."

Barbara POV

I think it's incredibly cute that Dick is so protective of me.

"Thank you Dick. But that's really not necessary."

"Im just gonna talk to him." Dick made air quotes around talk.

"No. Come on we need to get to class."

Nobody POV

Dick glares at Jack in math class. Barbara flings a rubber band at Dick's face.

"Oww what was that for?!" Dick snaps.

"Stop glaring!" She whispers back to him.

After the bell rings, Dick follows Jack out.

"Dick!" Barbara calls.

Dick ignores her and continues to Jack.

"So, last night, you were pretty drunk huh?" Dick says.

"Yeah I was, I feel terrible with what happened with Barbara." He says.

"You are?" Barbara chimes in.

"I had no idea you were standing there." Dick says.

"Of corse Barbara I feel horrible. Can we get back together?" He asks.

"Of corse." Barbara says.

They walk out and Dick is left completely and utterly dumbfounded.

Dick POV

On the ride home from school all I can think of is Barbara. I mean she could have any guy in school, why did it have to be the jerk that cheated on her last night? She is the prettiest girl in school, all the guys are ALWAYS hitting on her, she could take her pick from there. Usually me and Barbara would go to Wayne Manor and study, but she's to busy with... Jack.

I park my motorcycle in the garage and in.

"Hey Alfred." I say throwing my back pack to the ground.

"Hello Master Dick."

"Again I'm really sorry about last night. And don't worry I'll clean it all up." The house is still a mess.

"Thank you."

I walk up to my room and start my homework. About a half hour later my phone starts to buzz. The caller ID says: Babs.

"Hello?"

"Hey Dick. Can you come pick me up?"

"Yeah sure. Where are you? What happened?"

"Me and Jack got a flat tier."

"Great. So I have to pick up Jack too?" I say annoyed.

"Yeah?" She asks hopefully.

"Okay. Where are you?"

"I'll send you the address."

"K. Bye."

"Bye."

I grab my keys and run down stairs.

"Master Dick, where are you going? Your grounded." Alfred says.

"I just have to go get Barbara. I'll be back. Just don't tell Bruce?"

"Fine. But he's going to be home soon, so hurry."

"Okay bye."

I hop into one of our many cars, and get on the road.
