Chapter 22 } New Servants

"I will need more servants, there are less maids and I need a few more butlers." I said venting off to Jimin.

He looks at me with furrowed eyebrows signaling that he's confused.

"With this thing out? What if it qualified to be a maid or a butler, who knows what it can do." Jimin stated trying to prove a point.

"I understand your point of view, but we are really running short the castle isn't as it was after I met you." I said not realizing that what I have said hurt Jimin's feelings a little bit.

"Oh...." Jimin said looking down.

"I don't mean it like that, Jimin. I'm just stating when things kind of started going downhill. You are not the problem, so please don't think that way. My intention with those words weren't to hurt you." I said as I rubbed his back in reassurance.

"Now the 20 of you new maids listen closely. Do not enter any room without knocking. Jimin and I's room is out of service to you all. You were qualified to only clean the castle and treat it with the outmost care. Is that clear?" I asked sternly.

"Yes, your highness." They replied back.

"Good. There are other maids to guide you while you are doing your service." I said while motioning to the mature and experienced maids.

As the new maids turn and walk to do their job, I face the 15 butlers to explain the rules.

"Now listen here, you will also be accompanied by experienced butlers. You always have to knock and make your presence known. My room is available to you all, but you are not allowed to enter unless you have received consent from me or Jimin." I said plainly.

"Understood, your highness." They all stated back with respect.

"Good, now you all may get started."
I hope this wasn't a bad idea.

"So did the orientation go well?" Asked Jimin.

"Yes, it went smooth no one seemed suspicious." I said sighing afterwards.

"That's good to hear." He commented as we laid back to rest.

"Excuse me sir, you shouldn't be in that room." An experienced maid stated warning the new butler who didn't seem to listen to her.

"Sir! Get away from that door!" She shouted trying to gain his attention and make him get away from that specific room.

The inexperienced butler turned around facing the maid with its ugly facial features.

The maid gasped loudly in horror.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" She shouted as she turned around to run.

The butler began to run after her, but the maid was quicker.

"Your highness!" I heard someone yell out as I was walking down the hall.

"There's one of the new butlers, his face was decaying and he tried to get me!" She was out of breathe and then started mumbling a few other words.

"Come and sit down, once you have calmed down then start stating what happened." I said worried as she has been working in this castle since day one.

The maid had explained everything to me. I was surprised.
How could I let something like this happen?

I informed all the guards in the castle to watch out for this specific butler.

I was so frustrated. I need Jimin.

"Jimin?...." I called out into the dark bedroom.

"Yeah..." He said in a raspy voice.

"Why are the blinds closed?" I questioned.

"I wanted to take a long nap, is there something you need?" He said still sounding sleepy.

"Yes, but it's not that important." I said while closing the door behind me and walking slowly to the bed.

"Are you sure?" He asked sitting up.

"Yes." I reassured him while sitting next to him on the bed.

Even though it was pitch black I was still able to see the most handsome vampire, Jimin.

I cupped his cheek as I leaned forward giving him a deep and passionate kiss.
