Chapter Six:

“Allison, did you slow that guy down?” I asked Allison on the phone as Stiles and I raced to the police station in his jeep. Allison let out a mischievous laugh.

“You could say that,” she answered. “Where is Scott?”

“I called him before we left,” Stiles piped in. “Apparently he’s at Isaac’s.” Stiles said as he quickly turned a corner.

“Does he have a plan?” Allison asked.

“Yeah, but not a very good one,” Stiles said. “And unfortunately we don’t have time to come up with anything better.”

“Okay,” Allison answered, with a hint of worry in her voice. “I’m going to go meet him there. Good luck you guys.” She hung up and I stared at Stiles.

“What is he doing at Isaac’s?” I asked. “Isn’t that kind of breaking and entering?” Stiles shook his head.

“Apparently Derek wanted to show Scott the way Isaac lived, and why he bit him.” I shivered and sat back in my chair. “What’s wrong?”

“I can’t imagine how terrible it must have been,” I whispered. I remembered my vision where Isaac was cowered up against the wall as his father pelted glass at him. I only got a seed of what happened. Isaac had to live with that every day. Stiles slapped me on my hand. “Ow!” I yelped.

“You’re gonna go thinking this is your fault again, which it is not,” Stiles scolded me. I sighed and stared out the window, looking at the giant full moon.

Stiles pulled into the Police Station’s parking lot. He grunted angrily. “What’s wrong?” I asked him.

“Part of Scott’s plan was Derek’s supposed to be here,” Stiles said as he turned off his car.

“Well… maybe he’ll be here soon,” I tried to convince him. Stiles rolled his eyes.

“He was supposed to be here by the time we got here. We have to get Isaac!” Stiles exclaimed. “The keys to Isaac’s cell are in the lock box in my dad’s office. All we need to do is let Isaac out, and then we’re good. But Derek is supposed to be here to pick him up and take him away so he doesn’t kill anybody.” I shrugged my shoulders.

“Why don’t we just get a head start without Derek?” I suggested. Stiles had a look on his face like he was in deep thought.

“How would we get past the front desk?” Stiles asked me. I smiled.

“Just follow my lead.” I hopped out of the car and Stiles followed. We walked in the front doors where Deputy Angie stood. She gave Stiles and I a suspicious smile.

“What are you two up to?” Angie asked us. I laughed and nudged Stiles to laugh as well. Stiles laughed nervously.

“Um, well… we just need to get into Sheriff Stilinski’s office,” I stated. Stiles stared at me with wide eyes. Angie crossed her arms.

“Oh, do you?” I nodded, and Stiles sighed.

“Stiles and I were studying in there yesterday while we waited for his dad to come back so we could go out to eat. And I think I left my History book in there. Is it okay if we go check real quick?” I gave her the sweetest smile I could manage. She smiled and looked down at the papers on her desk.
