At first we spoke
Nothing too deep just shallow bickering
Then the waters rose as I tried to make him understand my point while he was galavanting beside the point
This was the calm before the storm.
He raised his voice yelling profanities while I raised my hand upon him for the first blow
A sea of emotions flooded my body as I shook in anger
Chills moving down my spine
Warm tears forming a steady stream that dripped from my face
By now we had an audience witnessing the rough sea at high tide
Individuals from the audience surrendering their lives to the sea in attempt to tame the tide
But to no avail
It was only when the streams had run their courses and the waves lost their integrity that he dove back to his senses and she swam back to reality
