Both men stare at me in shock. Slade looks the most surprised. Gosh, me and my big mouth. Oh well. "I knew there was something familiar. Your eyes." Lucas says staring at me while Slade looks like he's about to have a heart attack and drops down in the nearest chair. "Yes I know, we all have eyes Lucas.. It's for people to see." I tell him slowly while I walk to Slade. Maybe he's never heard of eyes? "Listen Slade.." "No you listen. How could you not tell me! I saw you fighting. Fighting like that takes years and bullshit if you tell me you learnt it back home. I know that town, they didn't have the balls to even throw a punch. So where have you really been huh??" Slade looks utterly disappointed and angry. Hold up." Excuse me? You don't even have the right to ask me any of those questions you son of a bitch! You fucking left me when I needed you the most! And don't you dare make me feel guilty about this! You couldn't even tell me that you were in a gang for crying out loud. So you know what, I don't owe you shit." I yell anger spiking in my blood. I see Slade look taken aback and then I see guilt cross his features." You're right, I'm so so-" he says. " Save it for someone who cares. I'm outta here. " and with that said I turn to walk out when someone grabs my wrist. Electricity shoots up my hand with the contact and I turn around to see Lucas. "Oh what the hell now?" I yank my arm from his grip. "You're not going anywhere." he tells me with a smirk. "Oh yeah, I'd love to see you try." I reply with my hands crossed. "Rock." he calls out staring at me with satisfaction. Rock? What the hell is that? Are we talking about Geography? Just then someone grabs me from behind. Someone extremely muscular. "You son of a bitch!! What you too coward enough to face me?" I tell Lucas. "Watch your mouth." he replies sternly. "Please, I'm not scared of you, I've been through worse. You think you and your gang can scare me?? Please boii, please." My sass levels just went up by a 1000. Lucas ingnores me. "Please show Skylar to our room." My eyes widen, what the hell?? I try to get out of this Rocks grasp but it just tightens. "Stop moving." his deep voice says as he turns around. "Oh fuck you Rock. Slade you're not gonna even help me out??" Slade just looks at me sympathetically and then my heart breaks because I realised no matter what I'd always take a bullet for Slade and yet he'd never take one for me. I just turn my head away and let Rock carry me because it's hopeless trying to get out of his grip.

We arrive at a door, he opens it and pushes me in shutting it and I hear a key turn. Great, I'm locked in. I take in the room. It's massive with only the colors white and grey. Wow, those are some really depressing colors and it smells like citrus and aftershave. Lucas. I sigh sitting on the bed and for the first time in years, I finally breakdown and fall to the floor. I remember my mother, me learning independence at such a young age, traveling to Japan, I realise how much I actually miss them and then I think of Slade and how he couldn't even save me and then I think of him and my blood boils. FUCK. I only really swear when I'm angry and this hardly happens. I hate being caged up in this room. I got really happy when I saw that the windows could open but that disappeared when I saw the numerous guards outside. Well, one thing is for sure. I'm gonna make Lucas' life a living hell.

I tried picking the door but it's no use. You know that point in your life where you just give up because nothing ever works? Yep that's me right now. Sighing, I sit back on the floor with my head between my legs. After what seems like forever, I hear the door open and close again. I hear footsteps approach me and I know it's Lucas. Bitch. "Skylar." and my blood boils again and the painful memories flood back. "Nobody calls me that except my mom." I say as calmly as I can slowly looking up staring in his eyes. "Well get used to it because it is after all your actual name." My jaw ticks and I spring at him forcing him to the ground. I punch him square in the jaw earning a cry of pain from him. "You piece of shit!! How dare you lock me in your room. Who the hell do you think you are??!!" I yell at him, going to punch him again, only this time he dodges and turns us over so that I'm lying beneath him and he's hovering over me. His hands hold my hands above my head and his knees part my legs. Shit now I can't even kick him in his balls. Smart motherfucker. "Now listen here. I don't know who you think you are but I am the fucking leader, mafia, boss, whatever the hell you want to call it of the world's most powerful gang and we have to work on training that mouth of yours because you are speaking to the most feared man in the world. Now my rules are easy. Do as I say. You treat me with respect and I will give it back. Do I make myself clear? " I just stare at him." Good, now I'm going to let you go and  I want you to go get freshened up and come downstairs for dinner when you're done. Are we clear? " I have no words because honestly the look he's giving me makes me want to obey him. I may have come face to face with many terrible people in my life but one thing is for sure, you don't want to piss off Lucas. Well let's see how long I can actually obey him because I did say I was going to make his life hell. "Yes." I reply with no emotion in my voice. "Yes who?" he questions sternly. I bite my tongue to hold back the words I actually want to say. "Yes Lucas."  I mutter. "Good, now go." he let's me go and walks towards the door. "Oh and Skylar? Don't be late." with that said he shuts the door. I could quickly escape and ignore what he just said but something tells me not to.

Lucas:

I walk  down the stairs with pure satisfaction. That ladies and gentlemen is how you tame a beast. Although, I don't know how long it'll last. She's like fire, dangerous and fierce. My fire.I can see that she has a dark past and calling her Skylar was to see just how far I can push her before she ticks.Honestly I love to see her stand up for herself and all her attitude with me. All the girls I've met are always afraid of me and do as I say but she's different. It sure is a turn on to see her like that. Shut up brain.Geez what has gotten into me? I never talk like this. Tomorrow I'll have a full back ground check done on her. "Geez what happened to your jaw?" Rock says. I smile because I'm proud of who she is and how she can defend herself. "Skylar." he laughs. "She sure is feisty, I like her." I'm surprised at what he just said. Rock hardly likes anything. "Well good for you because you'll be seeing her a lot more." Slade walks in "Woooow dude what happened to your jaw?" "Skylar." "I'll never be able to get over the fact that she isn't my innocent sunshine anymore, she's more like a dark storm blocking my sunlight." he sighs "Course you will, it'll just take time." just then Skylar comes down the stairs and my eyes widen and my groin tightens. She's wearing one of my hoodies and it's extremely short. Totally hot but I don't want my men to be gawking at her, she's only for my eyes." Oh great, just the people I want to be eating dinner with." she says sarcastically. Ahhh I knew she wouldn't last long. I walk up to her and I grab her wrist. "What the hell are you wearing?" I say harshly just to see if I scare her but there's not a trace of fear in her eyes. "Clothes? What else will it be?Besides you left me no option. "she replies back looking utterly hot and fearless"You are for my eyes only! Are you even wearing anything underneath?"  her  features change from sarcastic to angry. "I am not your anything. I'm not some property of yours!! What the hell do you think I am? A slut? I'm wearing your gigantic boxers idiot and what's up with you and my wrist? Do you have a wrist obsession??" She yanks her hand away and pushes past me. " Pizza for supper?? Finally the one good thing that's happened today. " she grabs a slice from the box and we all stare at her." What? Haven't seen a girl eat pizza before? " she says." Actually we haven't." Rock replies. "Shut up Rocky, I haven't forgotten what you've done." he looks surprised and I burst out laughing. "Rocky." Skylar is amazing. I get myself some pizza. "Sky we should talk..." Slade let's out. She puts her hand up "Not now Slade. I'm still pissed at you." She doesn't even make eye contact with him and his face falls. I can see how much he's hurting and my heart hurts too, he's is afterall my best bud. Come on, I might be the most feared man but I do have a heart. We all eat in silence." Well I'm done eating. G'night, I'm heading upstairs. She glances at me."Yeah, I'll come up with you, night guys."  "Night." they reply in unison. Skylar just looks at me then walks up the stairs. I follow her.

We get in my room sorry our room, I shut the door behind me. She gets into bed and pulls the covers over her. I'm surprised to see that she's not sleeping at the edge of the bed. I take my shirt of and pull my pants down till I'm in my boxers. After switching the light off, I get in and realise how close she actually is to me, even though her back is facing me, she seems comfortable. "I'm surprised you're not complaining to sleep with me." I break the silence. "I've slept with a lot of guys so I'm used to it. " My eyes widen and I feel angry and jealous. Dammit, I wanted to be her first." Oh so you're not a virgin. " I'm surprised when she let's out a laugh and even more surprised when she turns to face me. Our bodies inches apart." I meant I've slept next to numerous guys and yes I'm still a virgin. Most of my best friends were guys back home." She says staring at me. The moon is out so we can still see each others faces." Oh, sorry. " I tell her." It's okay. " she replies but her smile doesn't reach her eyes. She yawns, "Well goodnight then and don't try anything funny or I swear I will cut your balls off and feed them to you." I chuckle "Yes mam." she genuinely smiles. "You're not as bad as I thought you were." is all I hear her say before her eyes close and I hear her soft snores. I watch her beautiful face till my eyes close and sleep takes over.
