If everything is going to your plan, even for a single minute, you are in trouble. This is what I have learnt in the past 21 years since I came to earth.

"Kaif seriously? Tyre puncture? That too on such bizarre road?" I cry cursing his car.

"Well, at least we can have some alone time." he smirked.

"First, not here! Second, I'm getting engaged. Third, Don't call Kashan." I ordered snatching his phone away.

Have I ever mentioned how strongly my fate hates me? No? Well, I actually have a proof right now.

"Yes, Kaif?" Kashan answered as the phone call unknowingly somehow managed to get connected.

I was so pissed on Kashan after that dream I had last night, I barely wanted to hear him speak.

"Kaif?" He asked again.

Kaif stared at me zipping up his lips trying hard to control his laughter. I looked at the phone and took a deep breath. What? It takes courage to speak to a wounded lion.

I took another deep breath and...

"Waraina." he said. Well, he didn't even question but mentioned.

"How do you know?" I questioned instantly.

"I always know." he said.

"Yeah right, Romeo!" Kaif teased and finally broke into fits of laughter.

"Are you guys home already?" he asked.

"Go on. Answer him." Kaif teased again. I hate him.

"We are stuck. Kaif's car betrayed us at MG road." I sighed.

Trust me, this time I really heard a slight laugh. He did laugh, or did he?

"I'm sending a driver. Don't let the monkey out in woods." he commanded right before hanging up.

"Who is the monkey he was referring to?" I asked pretty much shocked.

"The one who got affected." Kaif flaunted his teeth and got out of the car.

Mr. Howtie, you are dead.

My feet were swollen since last night so I stayed in the car while Kaif tried to contact a few other animals.

"By the way princess, don't you find it weird that Kashan goes to your college everyday to check on the management himself? I mean, anyone could do that for him." Kaif asked opening a can of grape juice.

"He actually has his office in the same area, so it makes more sense for him to take a round of the place at least once. Although, he definitely must be blaiming me for this too... After all they bought the college so that I could study there peacefully." I ranted.

"Perhaps you are wrong. There is one more explanation. Try asking him someday." Kaif joked.

Asking Kashan Haque? Last thing to do on the planet.

"So, do you still have feelings for him?" he asked all of a sudden not looking into my eyes but behind me. I lowered my gaze to think for an answer.

"Don't think. I mean, now that you guys are finally going to tie the knot, don't you think you two should be more connected?" he asked again looking behind me. I tried to match his gaze only to realise his grey eyes had two reflections.

I lowered my gaze again as the door behind me opened. Kaif was peeping in through the driver seat's window. I was on the passenger side. Well no more. The door behind me was wide open, and it seemed as if not just this car door but some other door was also disturbed.

"You speak too much. Get in the car." Kashan ordered Kaif. I turned to look at his pale face, finally an expression. Though I wasn't much satisfied, but he did get affected.

"You were sending a driver." I reminded him. He helped me get down Kaif's car and then helped me to get inside his own.

"Why did you guys take this route?" he asked.

"Your girl was getting restless." Kaif blamed me for everything. Well, he was right. I asked him to take this route.

Kashan kept on ignoring me again while I stared at his face. Both the boys had some political discussion which none of them were interested in but both knew it was going to affect our lives.

Soon Kaif got busy on a phone call and lying down on the backseat began to flirt with some girl. Kaif was always this careless. He hated seriousness and was always ready to escape.

Kashan had his eyes glued to the roads while I was busy pondering over the questions Kaif raised today. Suddenly the file that had my medical report falls down from my hands. I bent down to pick them up and finally it caught Kashan's attention. He helped me pick them up.

"What's this?" he asked. Why so arrogant?

"Medical reports." I replied.

"And? Anything to worry about?" he asked.

"Nope. Just low on hemoglobin." I replied and as expected no reaction let alone a reply.

After 15 minutes of utter silence we finally reach home. Kaif got down first and came to help me get down. Kashan went ahead to park the car and didn't show up again.

It was 2 pm when we reached back. I went to take a shower only to realize I had grown too weak to even stand without support. I tried to take a nap to forget the dream and the weird questions but nothing was working.

For once I ended up dialing Kashan's number but he didn't answer. I would have been more shocked if he would have answered.

"Princess? Sleeping?" Kaif knocked at the door. I was still in bed and my will power forced me to continue cuddling my pillow. He came in anyway unbothered of any permission.

"Someone is too busy. I'll come later." he said and stayed. He sat on the sofa placed beside my bed. His eyes were fixed on a photograph that had me and Zamaira. Strange, she somehow always stays by me. Even in memories people have. She rules.

"Hey Princess." He spoke to her picture. People are mad after her.

"Bibi Sahiba..." Rubeena Aapa unlocked the door. I still pretended to sleep.

"What are you doing here?" Kaif questioned. He sounded cautious.

Who so ever the person was didn't reply. I swear to my lord, his foot steps were warning me to get up. I sensed that person reach close to my bed. I clutched my eyes too tight in the fear of getting caught.

"You don't even know how to fake sleeping. Grow up girl." Kashan said taking a seat beside me on the bed.

I slowly opened my eyes and heard Kaif laugh out loud while Kashan stared at my face confused.
