I'm sorry, I have a girlfriend

My walls crashed around me. "You... have a girlfriend?" I asked again to make sure i heard him correctly.

He nodded. "I mean, it's not like anyone else liked me. You wanted to be friends so we're friends, Aren't you... Happy?"

"NO I'M NOT HAPPY! JUST BECAUSE I DON'T WANNA BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND DIDN'T MEAN THAT I WANT SOMEONE ELSE TO BE!" I yelled standing up.

"Nevermind. Go talk to your girlfriend I'm pretty fucking sure she wouldn't appreciate you only with me in my bedroom."

"Liz I-" He started to say before he was cut off by my door opening. "Elizabeth, dinner is in- What is he doing in your room?" Emily glared at Gus.

"He was leaving. Get out" I also glared at him. "Liz I'm sorry I didn't think that-"

"Get out Gus!" I yelled at him. "I'll see you at school" He whispered, stood up and left.

Walking past Emily who gave him a dirty look. As soon as he left Emily ran over to me and embraced me in a hug.

"Honey what did he do to you?" She whispered hugging me.

"He ripped my heart out"

I walked into school to see the same blonde on his arm as he talked to Bex and Trace.

Now that I finally could see her face She was beautiful. She wasn't wearing any makeup and had on a hoodie that I remember being on His desk chair and leggings and still looked beautiful.

I was wearing Fishnets, high tops with my normal skirt and crop top with My face covered in makeup and probably still looked hideous.

Her black hair naturally looked perfect without anything while my hair took my 30 minutes to brush this morning and probably still looked hideous.

I wanted to hate her so bad but she did nothing. I watched an innocent freshman walk by her and fall to her feet.

"Oh my god I am so sorry let me help you!" She got on the ground and picked up the things that fell out his open bookbag.

"Thank you" He muttered.

"No problem" She stood up and helped him up also. Gus wrapped his arm around her shoulder and kissed her cheek making her blush.

I walked away towards my class even though there were ten more minutes until the bell rang.

I sat down in the back of the classroom and she sat next to me. I didn't even know she had this or any class with me.

"Hi, I'm Zaria, Your Gus's Friend right?" She put her hand out and I smiled at her and shook it.

"Yeah... I'm Elizabeth" I say with barely any confidence that couldn't even compare to hers.

"We should be friends, so like, we could all hang out sometime"

"Yeah, sure I guess" I gave her a weak smile then turned around. No wonder Gus chose her.

She was the definition of perfect. Her beautiful skin glowed making me envy her even more.

I wanted to hate this girl. For being so perfect. Or more importantly for stealing Gus from me.

I walked into the girls bathroom because I will NOT be going into the cafeteria.

Not that I ever even did. During lunch I would go with the guys to the abandoned place we always would hang out at and watch them as they smiled and talked.
