Chapter 4 Destructo Makes An Appearance!

        Destructo  decides to have  a little fun!  He uses cataclysm on the Effiel Tower and it crashes down. Now all that is left of this famous monument is a pile of rubble.  He laughs at the mess he just made. He thinks, if the citizens of  Paris thought I was a monster before, now what do they think of me?   He destroys the bridge that over looks the ravine as a couple are about to cross it.  The lady and man both scream as they realize the structure has fallen apart below them!  Just as he thinks they will drown, Carapace shows up and rescues them from sudden doom.  

     Destructo is furious.  Awe, they just ruined my fun!  Well, I will show them!  He throws a huge blast of stinky cheese in the direction of  Rena Rogue. She manages to dodge it. Carapace hits it with his shield and it lands in the river.  

      Nadja Chamack notices the new villian. She can tell it is rather small for size, but dares not say as much. She figures why offend the criminal.  She smiles. She decides to interview the little piece of  trouble. 

     "Hi, Nadja Chamack is here!  Right behind me we have our latest villian!"  She says.

     "Yes, that is right!  You heard her!  I am Destructo and unless Ladybug, and the others hand over their miraculous I will destroy everything in sight.  I might just be your worst nightmare yet!"  Destructo says.  Then off he goes with plan to cataclysm almost everything in Paris,France!  

    "You heard him folks, it seems if Ladybug, Rena Rogue, and Carapace do not met his demands he will destroy all of Paris as we know it!  Now, what are we too do?  This is Nadja Chamack, signing off."  Nadja says.

     Marinette and Tikki who saw the whole broadcast gasp.  

"Wow, Tikki is this is way worse than I thought!"  Marinette says.

    "I know!  I just feel sad about poor stinky sock!"  Tikki says.

   "Look, Tikki don't worry!  That is what Hawkmoth wants, and besides I am sure we will save your friend!"  Marinette says.

     "Tikki spots on!"  She says, and transforms.

     Ladybug in her usual, skin tight red suit with black spots, zips away on her yo-yo!  She arrives just as Rena is about to make an illusion.  She smiles at her partners.  She feels bad for Chat who can't help as it is his kwami that has been akumantized, after all. The poor fellow, what is he to do?  He has no choice, but to sit back and watch the others at work. That is what! 

     Adrien saw the news. His jaw drops!  

     "Oh, no!  Plagg!"  Adrien screams.

    Adrien releases it is his friend and kwami who is been made into Hawkmoth's next victim. What should he do? What can he do?  He feels rather useless at the moment. He shakes his head. I must not think so low of myself.  I can't let Hawkmoth akumantize me too!   He decides no matter how risky it is he can not stand by and do nothing.  He must help. He has too.  Why if something happens because he fails to help, he will never forgive himself.  Never!  He knows what he has to do.  He puts on a hooded jacket, and this small mask that he made as part of a Halloween costume last year.  He leaves the house. He feels all set to help! 

    Ladybug spots him out!  She smiles. Then, frowns.  

" What are you doing here?  Don't you know it's dangerous?  There is a villian on the loose!" Ladybug says.

   "I know, and I am here to help!"  Adrien says. He only hopes she can't recognize his voice as he did his best to disguise it so as not to have anyone know who it really is behind the cheap homemade mask and hoodie. 

   "Well, then welcome aboard!"  Ladybug says. She winks at him.

   Adrien feels himself blush. He is glad that she does not seem to know who he really is, or at least he hopes she doesn't.

   "Well, then kind citizen what shall we call you?"  Ladybug asks.

    "Hmm, how about the Masked Avenger?"  He says.

    "Okay, then Masked Avenger, do be careful!"  Ladybug says.

   "Sure thing, madame!" He says. He continues to use the incognito voice.

       Rena Rogue, Carapace,Ladybug, and now  the "Masked Avenger"   work hard together to try to defeat Destructo!  Only Destructo seems to meet almost every move they make.  Not only is this true, but they discover he never runs out of his cataclysms. 

      "Ladybug watch out!"  Masked Avenger says as Destructo hits a board behind her and the building comes down around her. 

     "Ah!"  Ladybug screams.

      Ladybug blackens out.
