May 12. 16 years in the past.
It truly started nine months before but this is where this story is starting. It was in a hospital. It wasn't any different than a hospital that you would know but something special was going on. Sallie Jones was giving birth to twins. Her husband Chris Jones and her one-year-old son Ryan. Once the kids were born Chris and Ryan were allowed to see Sallie and the twins. "What are their names?" A nurse asked as the twins opened their eyes. The first to do it was the child they named Rosa. She had her fathers Brown hazel eyes. "Her name will be Rosa," Chris said picking her up Rosa started to laugh and Ryan laughed seeing his sister. The other one now opened her eyes. She looked at her mother. Her eyes were a deep green and she reached out for her mother. "Her name shall be Emerald" Sallie smiled at her daughter. Chris looked at Emerald and saw her green eyes. He did not like them. "Why are her eyes green? They are not like mine or yours!" Emerald started to cry from the loud noise that had boomed in her ear. Her mother held her close. "Chris! Don't be so loud your scaring her. She is our daughter and remembers, my grandmother had green eyes t must be from there." Sallie said holding Emerald close to her to calm her down. Sallie loved her two new daughters. She held Rosa and Emerald and smiled. Ryan climbed on the bed and hugged Rosa. This made Chris smile and also made Sallie smile but Ryan soon after hit his other sister making Emerald cry. Chris smirked while Sallie reprimanded her son. "No Ryan we do not hit," Sallie said to her son. Ryan pouted and looked at his crying sister. "Now say sorry to her". Sallie said and Ryan hugged Emerald. "Sowy," He said kissing Emeralds forehead. Chris rolled his eyes at that and picked Ryan up. "How about we leave mommy to rest with Rosa and Emerald." Ryan nodded at what his father said and soon the two had left. This left Sallie and her two newborn daughters to sleep a little bit before testing would be done on the daughters.
So. Chapter One was very short but what were you expecting?
A huge scene of childbirth?
No, I will not write that.
Rosa has the darker bear and Emerald has the lighter one.
