My past made me a ruler

The great move and road trip

August 1st, One month ago.

4 am

Everyone had woken up pretty early. 4 am. Emerald had finished packing as did Ryan and Rosa. They packed the car and the kids got in the car. Rosa and Emerald were on the window seats while their brother was stuck in the middle of them. Sallie then got in the passenger side and Chris got in the driver's seat. Then they were off. 

7 am

They stopped off at a MacDonalds that was on an off ramp. Rosa had chicken nuggets. Ryan had a big Mac. Emerald had a chicken and bacon wrap. Sallie had a chicken caesar salad and Chris had a might Angus original. After they were all finished they got back on the road.

12 pm

It hit noon and they were in a traffic jam. They were supposed to be at their new home already but the jam was making them wait. Rosa and Ryan were talking about how the school will be in town they will be in. Emerald was listening to her music and looking out her window. She liked watching to world pass by. Sallie was trying to find a different route and Chris was trying to not have full-on road rage. 

1 pm

They were finally almost at their new home. Just one more left and they would be there. The left happened and they got to their new house. They parked in the driveway and all got out. The three children when inside the house. The house was a larger house than their last house. It was much more open with waking into the living room. A washroom off to the side. Her brother and sister didn't waste time running up the stairs to the second floor. Once you walked into the house more the kitchen was hidden behind a wall. But it was modern and the dining table was close and could fit the family and a few others if need be. Once she got up to the second floor the rooms had already been assigned. the first room was her parents as it was the biggest. Then after going into the hallway was her brothers and sisters rooms. Then she had to turn and walk down the hallway more to et to her room. It was the smallest out of the four but Emerald didn't care. She put her stuff down and sat on her bed. She smiled as she had a long room that was smaller but she was just happy that it was hers. 

6 pm

Everyone in the family was tired from unpacking and the trip had also tired them out. "Kids were going out for dinner come on!" Emerald didn't hear her father yell as she had her headphones on and was dancing in her room. Her brother then barged in her room and ripped her headphones off. "Hey! Idiot, we're going out to eat!" She sighed and grabbed her headphones back on. She was so annoyed with her brother but went downstairs and got in the car. Tomorrow would be the first day of school and everyone couldn't wait. 

So I know it was a little while before this came out but it was worth the wait right?

Anyways the pictures are of the floor plan for the house if there is any confusion on whos room was whos tell me and I'll clarify it for ya.
