“Oh my gosh!” I heard a voice of an angel exclaim, “Do you have to scream! I mean think about it. Would you like someone screaming in your ear at all times? No? I don't think the boys would either.” A girl with long, curly blonde hair told the other girls who were screaming at the fact of just meeting us. I looked at the boys and smiled at them, we love all our fans but they did get kind of annoying at times with the screaming. I was about to go over and thank her when I noticed Harry had beat me to it.
“Thanks beautiful, you have no idea how annoying the screaming gets.” He told her as she was talking to her friends, she turned around and saw him and her eyes got really big.
“No-o-o problem.” She stuttered as she turned to face him, her face turning a pretty pinkish color. I started to feel a little jealous that Harry had got to her first when I heard Louis say,
“Oi Harry! Don't hog all the girls; we want to talk to them too.” I could have kissed him. Harry gave Louis a cheeky grin and shook his head of curls as he made his way to one of her friends. I walked up to her and smiled I was about to say hi, when the words got stuck in my mouth, I couldn't say anything, she stood there gaping like a fish and I had a feeling I was doing the same. I don’t know why but the minute I saw her beautiful eyes, the perfect mix of brown and green, it was like there was nobody else in the world. I don’t even know how long we stood there for just staring at each other.
“Riley? Riley? Riley come on snap out of it!” I heard one of the blonde girls that she had been talking to when we came in exclaim.
“Niall? Niall, are you okay?” I heard Liam ask but I was too caught up in the girl, Riley’s, eyes. I stuck my hand out to her,
“Hi I'm Niall Horan, what’s your name?” I asked, my voice shaking, feeling the heat rise to my cheeks.
“Riley, Riley Marie Summers.” She said with a smile. I frowned when one of her friends pulled her to the bathroom.
“Nialler what just happened?” Zayn asked looking at my red face as I watched her walk to the bathroom. Liam stood next to him wondering the same thing.
“I don't know Zayn.” I told him looking into his eyes, so he knew I was serious. He gave me a loop sided smile.
“Niall I’m not sure but do you believe in love at first sight?” He asked staring off into space a thoughtful look taking over his brown eyes.
“If you would have asked me that yesterday I would have said no, but now I’m not sure. I mean she had the face of an angel, and her voice sounded like one.” I said dreamily. I looked back at Liam who was sharing a look with Zayn. I shook my head trying to clear it and looked around the room and noticed that the three girls who were screaming when they got there were gone as well as one of Riley’s friends and Harry. I looked at Liam to explain.
“The other three caused too big of a disturbance so Paul escorted them out.” He explained. “Harry took; um Abby I think that was her name, somewhere to grab something to eat.”
I nodded my head as a blonde girl, whom I’ll bet is Abby, and Harry walked back into the room with five bags a McDonald's food. I grabbed two of them leaving the other three to sit on the table.
“Got McDonald’s dinner for you. Not another brand.” Riley, Abby and their other friend said in unison. They smiled and laughed as they sat down at the little table Paul had sat up.
“So what are your guy’s names and where are you from?” Zayn asked as he took a bite of one of his chicken nuggets. I was nibbling on some fries waiting for an answer.
“I'm Megan Marks, I'm 18 and well we are all from Belmont, Ohio.” The blonde girl whose name I didn't know said. I saw Zayn give her a small smile, I smirked I think Zaynie has a crush.
“I'm Tabby Manns but I go by Abby, I'm 18 too.” Abby said with a smile as she flipped her curly blonde hair over her shoulder. “I also have a boyfriend named Trey.” She said with a glimpse of a sad smile tugging at her lips. I saw Harry looking closely at her a look of determination on his face.
“I'm Riley Marie Summers, but I go by Smiley or Ri though and I'm the youngest at 16.” Riley told us a smile evident on her face. She is so beautiful when she smiles, I thought to myself.
“So what are you three doing in Michigan then if you’re from Belmont?” Liam asked.
“Well we are all going into our senior year of high school and after this year we are all going to different colleges, Tabby is going to cosmetology school in Dayton, Megan is going to Cornell, and I'm going to the community college near home.” Riley informed us as she nibbled on one of her fries. “So Megan's parents decided we should stay at their summer house, and unbelievably Abby’s mom and my dad agreed. Plus our friend Ellie got me tickets to see you guys last year for my sixteenth birthday and it was close by and we wouldn't have to drive all the way back in the dark or have to rent a hotel.” She explained.
“So who is the biggest Directioner out of the three of you?” Louis asked. I saw Megan and Abby giggle and Riley blush as the two pointed at her. I raised an eyebrow at the blushing girl as she sipped her soda.
“Well if it wasn't for Abby, I never would have found you. Her boyfriend is a big fan of you guys and last January sent her WMYB and she made me listen to it and I fell in love and when I got home that night I looked up more of your guy’s songs and I got addicted.” She told us as the blush stayed on her face, it made her look so adorable, I almost groaned when Paul came in the room then with a sad look on his face. I thought he was going to kick them out.
“What's wrong Paul?” Liam asked a concerned look flashing over his face.
“The hotel canceled your guy’s rooms and now it looks like you'll be staying on the bus for a few days.” He told us, giving the boys and me a sad smile. The boys and I groaned in unison, the tour bus was okay for sleeping on while we were traveling but was not so much fun to stay in when it wasn’t moving.
“I know this is out of the blue but if you boys need a place to stay you are welcomed to stay with us.” Megan said a worried look in her light green eyes. We all looked at Paul who just sighed and nodded.
“It's settled then you'll stay with us.” Abby said with a smile.
