I watched as the boys pushed the couch and the chairs back against the wall, smiling as Liam pushed Zayn into a chair. I called out that I was going to change; my mind still on my brother as I climbed up the stairs and into my room. Looking around I found my jewelry box and took the key necklace my brother had given me for Christmas the year before he died. Putting it on I touched it, looking in the mirror all I could see was him. We had the same identical eyes, nose and smile. The only thing that was different was our hair color; I have blonde curly hair, and he had black hair that wouldn’t curl for anything. Smiling sadly, I reached over to the bed stand and took out my glasses; I hadn’t worn them in a year and eye sight had gotten worse because of it. Every time I wore them I thought of my brother telling me how cute I looked in them and that people would love them. Looking down at my clothes I decided to change into some pajama pants and a large top before trudging down the stairs to see everyone staring at me, self concisely I pushed my glasses up my nose, an old habit I had just recently stopped doing even if I didn’t wear them.
“Riley, you’re wearing your glasses.” Megan gasped in awe. I gave her a little smile as I nodded my head.
“Yeah I figured it was time to put them on again. Now stop staring at me people and let’s play some truth or dare!” I cheered, wondering if it sounded as fake to them as it had to me. Taking my seat next to Niall I snuggled into his side as Louis spun a bottle only to have it land on Megan. Megan groaned before answering truth.
“Aw you’re no fun.” Louis exclaimed with a pout. “But, your truth is what something from your past would put you in jail if law enforcement ever found out?” Louis said with a smirk as Megan rolled her eyes.
“Nothing really, I mean I’ve accidently ran a few red lights but that’s it.” She answered with a shrug. “Now it’s my turn to spin the bottle.” She said with a mile watching as it landed on Liam, he smirked at her.
“Bring it on blondie, I choose dare.” He said causing the boys to cheer. I saw Megan’s eyes light up.
“Okay, I dare you to let someone write the name of their first love on your forehead.” She said proudly, looking around the room before her eyes’ met with Tabby’s.
“Tab’s would you like the honor?” She asked tossing Tabby some purple eyeliner. Tabby smirked before writing Aaron Carter on his forehead. Liam groaned and spun the bottle only to have it land on me. I saw him smirk from my place in Niall’s arms.
“So Riley, truth or dare?” He asked.
“Truth.” I said with a shrug, causing him to sigh and pout.
“Who was your first kiss and where was it at?” He asked looking all impressed for thinking of an original question. I blushed as I felt everyone’s eyes on me staring at my face.
“Niall, and outside on the deck.” I mumbled quietly. I looked up and saw Liam smirk.
“What was that Riley I didn’t hear you.” He exclaimed smugly, causing me to groan.
“My first kiss was with Niall and it happened out back on the deck. Okay?” I told him burying my face in my hands. I quickly spun the bottle and cackled evilly when it landed on Louis.
”Louis, truth or dare?” I asked. Louis being Louis picked dare.
“I dare you to go outside to the main road and scream, ‘Someone help me! I’ve lost my voice and I can’t find it!” I said with a smirk. Louis just gave me his signature smirk and hoped up and ran to the door, the rest of us following behind him silently. I shivered lightly as the cool June breeze blew against my bare arms smiling a little as Niall put his arm around me.
“This is going to be funny.” He whispered as we followed Louis up the long drive.
“SOMEONE HELP ME! PLEASE I LOST MY VOCICE AND I CAN’T FIND IT!!!!” He screeched as he ran down the street. He did it five times before I told him to stop, chuckling he ran back inside. Once we sat back down Louis smirked as he plopped down on the floor. He quickly spun the bottle only to have it land on Niall. Louis was almost jumping up and down and the girls and I groaned when he choose dare.
“I dare you to be Riley’s slave all day tomorrow!” He said causing me to look confused. I was about to say something when the house phone rang. I watched as Megan jumped up from her spot next to Zayn. I leaned into Niall as I looked around the room and noticed that everyone’s eyes were a bit blood shoot, and they looked about ready to pass out. After about ten minutes Megan came back into the living room with a frown.
“I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that was old Mrs. Dowely from down the street and she told me that the next time someone runs down the street screaming that they lost their voice, she was going to give them a reason to be screaming. So I think it’s time to wrap this up, but I promise we will do this again. Plus I think everyone’s about to fall asleep.” She explained as she ran her had though her blonde hair. Yawning, she stretched. “I’m going to bed night guys.” She yawned walking over and giving Zayn a hug before running up the stairs. I watched as Zayn, Harry, Jordan and Abby followed behind her leaving only Liam, Louis, Niall and I in the living room. Standing up went and sat on the couch; I patted the cushion next to me and smiled when Niall sat down next to me. I cuddled up to him as I saw the other two boys roll their eyes and laughed when Liam tossed us a blanket with a pillow.
“Now you children behave, I’m way too young to be Uncle Louis!” Louis exclaimed in a sing-songy voice. I rolled my eyes as Liam gently pushed him into to the kitchen and made him go down the stairs. Flipping on the T.V I smiled when I heard Hagrid’s voice exclaim,
“You’re a wizard Harry.” Niall groaned jokingly as I sat up a bit straighter.
“Don’t tell me you’re one of those Harry Potter nerds.” He laughed tickling my sides.
“Oh but I am my slave.” I told him with a wicked grin. He kissed my nose before I cuddled back into his chest and watched as my favorite book played out into a really well made movie. I was awoken by the one and only Tabitha Wilma yelling in my ear.
“Riley Marie you promised me we would go shopping for the Justin concert today! Its 9:30 wake up!” She exclaimed shaking my shoulder. I smiled as I felt Niall’s arms tighten around my waist. Looking up I saw Niall smiling down at me.
“I’m up Abbs why don’t you give me twenty minutes to get ready.” I told her running a hand through my hair. Standing up I stretched and felt myself smile even more when Niall stood up behind me.
“Where are we going today master?” He asked in an accent I couldn’t pinpoint.
“We are going shopping with Abby today my slave, so why don’t you go change and I’ll meet you down here in twenty?” I asked as he nodded, kissing his cheek I ran up the stairs. Once I was in my room I walked into the bathroom and ran the straitener though my hair before deciding to put a bit of eyeliner and mascara on before walking to my closet and choosing one of the dresses Niall had bought me the day before. Grabbing my purse and wallet I walked down the stairs and found my glasses on the end side table slidding them on I walked to the door to find Abby and Niall already waiting for me.
“I take it we we’re taking my baby right?” I asked as I walked over to my blue jeep and sliding into the driver’s seat and Niall sat in the passenger seat, ignoring the silent glares that Abby was giving him. Once we got to the mall it didn’t take us long to find our outfits, Tabby had choose a pretty purple flowey tank top and a pair of dark skinny jeans. Niall surprised her with a necklace that said believe on it, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Abby smile more than when Niall handed it to her. Looking at the clock it read 2:30 and I was starving, we all decided to take a pit stop into McDonalds and gasped when we saw a teenage girl with a magazine that had no other than Jordan Marnie Darling and Liam Payne kissing right on the cover.
