The group of teens race down a golden lit hallway as they try to make their way towards the stairs which they had previously entered through. All seven of them were running away so they wouldn't be caught from the parents who were supposed to be in their PRIDE meeting. Instead, the kids caught the parents taking part in some sort of ritual with a girl that Karolina recognized.
"What if they didn't see us?" Nico asks making her voice be projected along with the sound of the teen's shoes hitting the pavement
"Well, then, we're getting in our cardio!" Chase says as he runs behind Nico while glancing back to look at the four girls who were behind him
"They definitely saw something," Karolina says as she continues to run and letting her cardigan catch the wind making it seem like she wore a cape
"Way to go, Molly!" Gert says as she looks over to her adoptive sister making Luna run faster as she just wanted to get back upstairs
"I said sorry!" Molly shouts irritated as she was the last one in the line of runners
The group of teens stop running as they reach the stairs only for Alex to notice that their only way out was closed, making him look behind him at the teens as he climbed up the stairs and says, "Shit! Which one of you guys closed the door behind us?"
"Are we trapped down here?" Luna asks as she heard Alex making her slightly panic at the thought of being trapped in a dark space that were the cement stairs she was climbing up. Everyone takes out their phones quickly and makes sure to turn on their flashlight to create some light in the dark staircases
"God, it won't budge! It must be locked" Alex says as he tries to open the door but had no luck in moving or hearing some sort of clicking like they had heard last time when on the other side of the door
"Don't take this the wrong way, Wilder, but a little upper body strength might help" Chase says as he reaches the top of the stairs handing his phone to Luna before walking over to the door and tries to push it open.
