The teens were slowly walking back towards the hostel when one of them hears a whirring sound like the one a heated computer makes. Molly having been the one to hear it breaks the silence when asking, "What's that noise?"
"I don't hear anything" Nico replies, as she just like most of the teens didn't hear anything
"Listen," Karolina says making the teens stop walking and all go quiet. In the silence, they were able to hear a faint whirring making the teens start to look around and up at the sky only for the whirring to get louder.
Suddenly six grey sleek drones flew up from a cliff stopping once they located the teens. The teens couldn't help but take a step back at the drones, and from behind her black sunglasses, Luna's eyes widen.
"It's them-- Chase was followed!" Alex exclaims making them all start to run only for the drones to fly after then and start firing some sort of dart weapon.
At the sound of something being shot at them, the teems duck and try to run faster but decided to hide behind some trees rather than keep running. They were prepared to fight
"Nico!" Alex shouts looking over at the Wiccan teen that held the staff in her hand but wasn't casting any spell
"Ahh-- I'm having... tomatoes--" Nico stutter not being able to speak a clear thought
"What?" Alex asks taking out the fistagon from the bag while more shots were fired at them
"I mean—trouble—I--I can't fry a-- a bubble! I'm scrambled" Nico admits giving the teens the clear message that the drones were interfering with her abilities to not only speak but use the Staff
"This drone is doing something to her!" Karolina says before taking it as her turn to use her power against the drones.

Karolina steps out from behind the tree she hid and used her power against a drone only for it to have a forcefield. As the drone shoots one of its darts at the teens they all hide behind the trees once again
