Chapter 1

The Goddess, Ezza

The light disperse, revealing a white room with nothing in it. The boy, confused, walks around the room and touches the walls as he goes.

"Welcome to my room, well it's more like a watch tower rather than a room" said the woman as she scratches her cheeks and turns sideway

"Oh yeah, I haven't introduced myself, yet have I?" The woman stands proud with her arms between her hips

"My name is Ezza, The Goddess of this world" said Ezza, as she looks at the boy, walking around not listening to her words.

Ezza sighed and grabs the boy, "Can you even understand what I'm saying?" the boy tilted his head.

"Hmm, well I guess it's to be expected, nobody taught you how to speak," said Ezza as she put the boy down, and put her hand on top of his head, and suddenly the boy fainted.

"WHY ARE YOU SO USELESS? YOU CAN'T EVEN MAKE A PROPER DINNER! YOU'RE JUST A BURDEN TO ME, GET OUT, AND NEVER COME BACK" shouted the mysterious woman towards a boy as he walks out of the house, but before he closed the door, the woman said "giving birth to you was a mistake" after hearing those words the boy closed the door and walks away from his home, and towards a void that will sooner or later kill him.

After a couple of hours, the boy finally woke up, and sees Ezza in front of him

"Are you awake?"

"Where am I?" said the boy, who shouldn't be able to speak to speak.

"You're in another world, and my name is Ezza, did you enjoy sleeping on my lap?" said Ezza while smiling.

"Another... Wait, lap?" the boy sits up and turns around to see Ezza smiling, with her laps dirty because of his hair, "I- I'm teribbly sorry for- here let me clean it up" the boy ripped his shirt off, but Ezza stops him,

"Don't worry about it, I can clean it up very easily," Ezza puts her hand on her lap, and mysteriously it began to shine, and the dirt was is gone "But more importantly, you should take a bath and if you're hungry I can make some food"

The boy, astonished by Ezza's power, accepted her offers "Y- yes, taking a bath sounds like a good idea, thank you very much,"
said the boy as he looks around "but I don't see any door that leads to a bathroom"

Ezza smiled "You seem to have forgotten that I am a Goddess, the one that maintain the balance of this world, creating a door is a simple task," said Ezza, as she snaps her finger, and a door appear on the wall in front of her "Try opening that door there!" Ezza pointed at the newly created door

"Sure, but how do you do that?" The boy said as he walks towards the door, and opened it

"I'll tell you, but more importantly that door leads to a lake, don't worry it's clean so you can bathe there," explained Ezza as the boy walks towards the lake "Don't forget to close the door, it would be troublesome if an animal comes through"

The boy closes the door, turns around, and sees a lake, with a huge tree in the middle of it, an animal similar to a deer, but with large horns just like a bull, drinking from it, and trees surrounding the lake, making it hidden if nobody knew where it was.

Gazing into the scenery of the lake, the boy realize just how beautiful this place is compared to the alleyway where his home is. The boy took off his clothes, revealing burn marks, covering half of his back, and cuts on his arms and legs.

The boy ran towards the lake, and cannonball his way to the water, startling the deer-like creatures. "This feels sooo good, it's been so long since I had taken a proper bath" the boy floats around the water, staring to the sky, deep in thought "Now that I think about it, I wasn't able to talk before, I wonder how she fix me up." the boy remembered about his life before he came here.

The scenery changed from a beautiful blue sky, to a classroom filled with kids insulting a boy, but even though the boy is being insulted he keeps on smiling because he can't wait to talk to his dad that is being hospitalized.

After the bell rang, and the teacher left, the boy hurried to the hospital where his dad is, but before he could leave, the kid that were insulting him before dragged him back to the classroom saying "Hey, weirdo, where do you think your going?"
The kid slam him to the wall and cracks his knuckles "What are you kids doing?" the teacher came back to the class after hearing the loud bang "Are you bullying him again?" the teacher punishes the class by not letting anyone except me leave the school ground before she said so.

"I wish I could thank her, but without a voice I can't do anything" the boy swims back, and puts on his clothes, the door leading to Ezza's room /watch tower, appears and, after he enters, the door vanishes.

Inside the room was Ezza, waiting for the boy's return, with a table full of delicious looking foods. "Don't hold back, just eat everything!" the boy's eyes was sparkling, he never saw this many food in one place before "Are you sure I can eat everything?" the boy slammed the table, asking for permission, as Ezza nods in agreement "What about you? Aren't you hungry?" after hearing his word, Ezza giggles "Have you forgotten? I'm a Goddess, we don't need to eat to live."

The boy didn't believe what she said "Back in the alleyway you ate the foods I gave you, that means you DO have to eat, here have some of this" said the boy as he hands Ezza a plate of... Some kind of meat?

Ezza, impressed by the boy's kindness, opens her eyes wide, and smiles "Then I'll gladly take that"

After eating Ezza asked the boy "By the way, do you by any chance have a name?" The boy looks up toward Ezza, and stares at the empty plate "No, I do not" said the boy with a sad tone, and a fake smile

Ezza stares at him, and smiles "Then, I'll give you one." the boy looks up again toward Ezza, with a face that's about to cry, and not knowing what to say.

Ezza stands up, but before giving the boy his name she said "I told you didn't I? That I will free you from your suffering, free you from the void that's about to kill you, and turning that void into a geyser of light, I shall heal the past full of pain" Ezza heals all of the boy's injuries

"I shall give you a chance to start your life anew, a life where you don't need to be tied down by the chains known as fate, no one will be able to tie you down, you'll be able control your own fate!" Ezza gives the boy a new set of clothes

"Fight for what you think is right! Laugh and smile in the face of death! Don't let the darkness consume you! But most importantly, dont forget who you truly are!" Ezza cuts the boy's long, messy hair.

"I Ezza Bella, The Goddess Of This World, shall give you a name befitting of someone who has the power to change the course of time" Ezza reaches out her hand to the boy, and help him stand "The name I shall give you is...
