"Attitude" (SonAmy Boom)

Chapter 10

Amy was leaning on the balcony of their hotel room, slowly breathing in the fresh air. She is covered in a sleeveless purple shirt and black pajamas. On her right hand is a warm coffee. Her mind began to wander about her cousin  who didn't came back last night. She wondered where he spent the night to? Probably at the HQ.

And thinking of the devil, the hotel room bursted open revealing a very pissed red hog. His eyes directly stared at his cousin who seemed shocked and confused at his sudden burst. He glared sharp daggers at her. "Amelia Rose... "

Amy just smiled innocently, but slightly scared of how he said her name, almost venomous. "... Uh, yes? "

Garnet inhaled then put on a calmed face. "How was your day yesterday, dear cousin? "

In confusion with his sudden change of mood, she raised a brow. "Huh? "

"How was your day? " He asked in a higher tone.

"Uhm... " Amy entered the room and closing the balcony doors. "Good? I guess. Why? "

He walked closer to her. "Have you been... To any lakes lately? "

The pink hedgehog froze on her spot. "H-How the hell did he know!? "

Garnet notice her frozen in shock and knew that he has got her where he wanted her. "Well? "

"U-Uh... " She slowly faced him with a nervous look as questions filled her mind. "Shit, did he see us!? H-How!? I hope he doesn't know about me and Sonic... "

"Amelia! "

"H-Huh? "

"Why aren't you answering? "

"... Because you obviously know the answer. " She said boldly. "Why else would you ask me that? "

"... To hear it from your own damn mouth. " He started to corner her. Amy, of course, stood her ground. "Now tell me, why in the bloody hell would you kiss him? "

"*gulped*.... I-I-"

"No excuses! "

"... "

Garnet noticed the slight fear in those jade green eyes. That made his gaze soften.

"... *sigh* Amy, I'm sorry. It's just that... Why did you ignore my warning? "

"Warning? Oh! When you were drunk? Well, I thought that was just you talking drunk nonsense. " Lies. She knows that little information that he said was serious. But chose to ignore it.

"Just... listen now. I want you to stay away from him. 'Kay? "

Amy took a step back from him. "No! Not until you tell me why! "

"I-It's... classifi-"

"Bullshit! "

Garnet was startled. He didn't expect her to burst out on him like that. Well, what did he expect? From a confident girl like her, even.

"Just be straightforward with me, Garnet. What did Sonic ever do to you? " She pointed her index finger at him. Fury visible in her jade green eyes.

At first, he was quiet. "He hurt my cousin. That's what he did. "

Amy was taken aback. Her furious glare turned to a soft, but confuse, stare. No... It has to be something more than that. That's a low reasoning even for him. "I don't believe you. There's something else. I know it, cous. Please just... spill the beans. "

"... When the time is right. "

"What? Why not now? Is now not the right time!? " She was staring to get pissed again.
