Seokjin sat in front of Hoseok, sipping coffee from a red mug.
Namjoon was fast asleep on Jin's lap and yoongi and Jimin were also sleeping on the floor ,.
Hoseok sat his knees pulled to his chest, staring at Seokjin.
"Are you going to tell them?" The elder broke the silence, placing his now empty mug down and absentmindedly stroking Namjoon hair.
Looking at the couple in front of him, he felt a slight twinge of heartache. He wanted to see her again but if he did...... he would have to tell her of his illness. He did not want to give her false hope and knew that it would be easier if she continued hating him and did not know about his inevitable death.
Sighing, he replied ," I have to hyung , but i don't know if I should."
"They deserve to know hobi-ah," Seokjin let out what seemed like the millionth sigh shared between the two of them and asked again, " What about her? " He looked expectantly sat hoseok, " Did you tell her yet? or atleast meet her?"
Hoseok shook his head
"I can't tell her hyung, "
"Why not?"
"I can't hurt her more than I already have."
Seokjin did not reply , unsure of what to say but he spoke up again,
"Where did you stay all this time?" he shifted forward a bit, " I passed by your apartment but the landlord said you moved out."
Hoseok just smiled sadly, " I was in the hospital for treatment."
Seokjin looked at him in confusion.
"Trauma from abuse, subconcious self harm in my sleep due to history of emotional distress and also I have to go to the clinic for chemo for my lungs." As he spoke he counted the reasons on his fingers and as he finished he put his hands under his knees.
Seokjin closed his eyes before looking up yet again, " But wasn't Jimin there?"
Hoseok nodded, " I was his roommate, if you would call it that."
"That means......... you saw her when she visited him?"
He shook his head, "Whenever she came to visit him, i left because I did not want her to know that I was there. I wouldn't be able to leave her alone,"
"So she did visit him then?"
Hoseok smiled,
" Of course, she just wanted to look out for her brother after all."
