That place was still the same as always

That silence and cursed emtiness were disturbing for those two souls in pain who lived there, but nowadays the only difference is that it was just an irritating silence.

Since they have been trapped there they have tried to keep calm so as not to fall into perdition, because they could not even execute themselves because of their code.

They knew this very well, and they have stopped trying long ago already.

They had to deal with that for the rest of their eternity until someday a superior force decided to get rid of those miserable souls in disgrace.

Unfortunately, not even one of those forces can help them with that
long-awaited desire.

. . .

Speaking of which

. . .

The older one of those souls, also known as Geno Sans, was sitting translucently lost in his thoughts. In that place mentioned above, he left these times to look at his infant companion, the child was concentrated drawing themself next to Geno.

This made Geno tenderness, put his hand on Frisk's head giving them a gentle pat and playing with their hair.

Geno: Wow kid, nice drawing. It seems that you put a lot work into this, haven't you.

Frisk looks at Geno, smiles back tenderly and thanks him for the compliment. They get up and ask Geno if they could play with a Gaster Blaster so enthusiastically.

Geno: Sure, why not?

Geno summons one and Frisk happily thanks the red scarf wearing skeleton, moves away to play with more freedom and leaves Geno alone with his thoughts.

Geno: Heh, your welcome Frisk.

Before he could get lost in his thoughts of his bad 'luck', he felt a presence behind him.

Reaper: Hey Geno! You missed me?~

Geno: . . .

He remained in silence and happened to answer him at the same time that he frowned closing his basin and ignoring him completely. He hated that force that broke his lost hope of being able to rest in peace.
