Chapter 2: Take advantage of the joke

It has been a week since Reaper took the slipper.

Geno began to seriously worry because the maximum record Reaper had not visit was two days.

He walked in circles for hours, his thoughts burning with absurd ideas, like, something bad has happened to Reaper like: An accident, maybe something happened in his AU.

Did he get tired of visiting him?

Geno was upset with this last idea and shook his head to deny himself on that thought, ''It would be absurd'', he thought. It would be strange if he were tired of him overnight.

But he had to think about it, it has been a week.

He sat down to avoid thinking about Reaper.

He tried to clear his mind but he couldn't, his foot hurt from walking so much without his slipper and every time that pain came he thought about Reaper, this angered him a lot.

Geno: Ugh, it's the idiots fault that my foot hurts!

Frisk was sleeping a bit away from him, but they heard Geno scream, so without much delay they got up and went to Geno to find out the reason for his condition. When he got to the skeleton, they sat down facing him so he could talk calmly.

Frisk: *You ask him why he screamed and you remind him that it is the third time this week this happened.*

Geno: Uh?. . . Oh. . . It's nothing, I'm just a little tense, my foot has been hurting a lot lately.

Frisk: *You ask him why he doesn't put on his slipper.*

Geno: Because. . . -Nervous- I-I. . .

Geno didn't know what to answer to his friend, he didn't want Frisk to worry or think about Reaper but he didn't know why, he decided not to lie and tell them the truth, after all, it wasn't a big deal.

Geno: Well, Reaper took my slipper last time he was here.

Frisk: *You are surprised by that answer.*

Geno: But it's nothing small, just a little joke from that idiot, I'll. . .
just try to rest a little.

Frisk: *You lay down and you wish him ''Good night.''*

Frisk was a little sad because they didn't want to see Geno in that state, but they thought that Reaper would arrive at any time to give the slipper back, so they fell asleep with a little more determination. They fall into a deep sleep next to his playmate, the Gaster Blaster.

Geno: Heh, how does this child fall asleep? I would like to do it myself. . .

The scarf wearing skeleton released a sigh and lied down quietly trying to fall asleep, but it seems that Frisk had hit on his idea.
Reaper appeared from a portal, kneels down and approaches Geno's head to whisper.

Reaper: Heh, I couldn't stand not seeing you for a week.

Geno: REAPER?!

Geno was startled and quickly sits up, hitting Reaper's head against his by accident. He covers his mouth because he did not want to wake Frisk, he discovers it and whispers also rubbing the area of the hit.

Geno: Auch, ugh. . . What took you so long? I thought something bad happened to you.

Reaper: Awww~ Where you worried about me?~

He also rubs his head and thought it was a good idea to steal the slipper.

Geno: Tsk! You wish, I just want my slipper back, by the way, my foot hurts because of you , silly.
