Night time.

. . .

Dim light and relaxing candles.

The god of death was trying to fall asleep in his comfortable bed.

And the half-dead, on the ground, was trying to do the same.

Reaper looked at the ceiling somewhat thoughtful. The half-dead skeleton was laying there with two blankets and a pillow, his back facing Reaper. "What happened?" You ask, well. . .

Both were in Reaper's room after a relaxing afternoon of reflections and interesting new infos, especially for the aforementioned. Geno was on the floor because he didn't want to sleep with him yet. It was ironic, they already shared a bed the night before, in the hotel after lustful acts. Why didn't he want to sleep with his boyfriend now?

Simple.

He was afraid that Papyrus or Frisk could enter the room and see them sleeping together. He also didn't want to lie in that bed for what Reaper would try to do. Speaking of him, the grim reaper thought about what his lover had told him in the afternoon little by little, while walking through parks and rural areas. In conclusion, he got this on his mind:

Money doesn't grow on trees. . . It's hard to earn it. . . They will make a difference between achieving it in your life or not. It contributes to the wealth of others. The key is to offer as much value as possible to others in order of receive all the abundance you deserve. What I mean to say is. . . It's not faire to spent it on me, Reaper. I couldn't bring you any benefit. . . you know? You could do something meaningful with it. You could leave it near someone who needs it without knowing it's origin or you could live more with your brother in the way you do it with me. He's your family after all. I. . . I'm just. . . Forget it. . . Besides, you said that Gaster gives the money, right? Then it's in compensation for his eternal work and you have suffered while earning it. It's not fair, Reaper. It's not fair that you squander on me. You could spent it on something much better. So. . . Please, don't waste it on anomaly anymore. But thanks anyway for the already spent. Thank you a lot.

.  .  .

Reaper was going around the subject several times. How was it possible that Geno felt that way? He seemed to have low self-esteem, not good. Or maybe he loved him very much and only wanted the best for him.

He wasn't sure. Both options seemed to have their logic.

On the other hand, Geno didn't want to feel uncomfortable while waiting for a dream to appear at once. He decided to remember what had happened before they were there.

.  .  .

The couple arrived at sunset as promised to the child. Papyrus and Frisk were home and asked them the reason for their absense last night and why the half-dead was in a wheelchair.

The couple was very nervous and didn't know what to answer. But Geno quickly released the same excuse he used for the lady in the planetarium. They explained everything they had done with many details but they left their relationship out as well as staying at the hotel.

Paps was very happy for them, since he thought they were finally in total peace. The child joined the talk at the request of Geno and explained that Toriel left them there hours before they both arrived because they had to take care of some things and retired. They also expressed the interesting things they have done with euphoria. Since Toriel was the Goddess of Life, they learned many things about her powers and how that world worked. Geno and Papyrus were very attentive and Reaper listened to something indifferent but he also talked occasionally.
