"Hello and welcome." A soft sultry voice would reply, belonging to a platinum haired girl that Tyler hadn't ever seen before. But she was definitely setting off his gaydar.

GASP.

"You came!" The girl from earlier basically tripped over herself, pulling Tyler into the small group. "Now we can go around and introduce ourselves!" She'd clap, still bouncing up and down.

The red-haired girl next to Tyler would lightly chuckle. "As you can see, we don't get a lot of new members." Her raspy voice would whisper. "I'm Debby."

"Tyler."

"Amy" The jumpy girl would squeak.

"Natalie" Spoke the same soft voice.

"Max"

"Taylor"

Tyler would take a deep breath, trying to relax as they rambled about becoming Wiccan and rules for the group. He did his best to feign interest until they finally started explaining spirits.

"The spirit is immaterial and yet is still found in all things..." A candle would be set on the carpet and lit. "The way the flame dances on the wick, you can see and feel its spirit. The ritual I will be sending home with you all today is how to contact a spirit. Be sure to properly thank your spirit for reaching out to you when done."

Tyler would fold the paper and shove it into his back pocket, his frustration growing. This wasn't being helpful at all.

"When someone or something becomes a spirit is there any way to bring them back?" Tyler felt the words spill out of his mouth, the room tensing.

"It is taboo to bring any mortal being or object back to its original state."

"Well, uh, ya know." Tyler would chew his lip nervously. "Just to learn for funsies?"

A cold glare would pierce him and he quickly wished he could take back everything he just said. "Haha, just kidding that's an awful thing to do." Tyler would shuffle, and conversation would continue until the meeting ended.

Tyler furrowed his brows- that only taught him what he already knew. Maybe he could find someone else-

"Tyler?"

"Uh-hi, yes, that's me." Tyler would straighten, turning to the voice. "Oh, Debby."

"You were asking about bringing back spirits, right?"

" Yes..." Tyler would shift uncomfortably. How would he explain why?

"I bookmarked a page in here, it explains the whole spirit thing way better than Amy did. No offense to her, but still." She'd hold out a large book.

"Oh." Tyler would smile his thanks, taking the book and heading home.
