It took two hours to create a cure for the serum, so by the time we finished, it was around 2 o'clock in the morning. However, In that time alone, somehow, Miles had managed to play that damn song a total of 50 times! I mean, it's not that I hated the song, but after hearing it for 13th time hearing in a row, I just wanted to break his phone so I wouldn't have to listen to it anymore.

Nonetheless, we finished making the cure and turned it into authorities, so those people could be helped. Then on the way home, Miles offered me some aspirin pills for my headache, which I thought was pretty thoughtful. Halfway to my house, Miles started asking me about places I would want to go to lunch tomorrow.

"So would you like to go to chipotle or somewhere fancier?" Miles said swinging from one building to the next.

"Anything's fine with me." I replied gliding past him.

"Well no, it's not fine, I mean I have to take you somewhere nice." Miles replied.

"You know, you don't have to take me anywhere special, I just like hanging out with you were ever I go."  I said without thinking and I instantly regretted it.

"Oh really?" Miles in a teasing tone, "Like anywhere, anywhere, because I have to tell you I need my bathroom privacy-"

"Oh shut up you knew what I meant!", I replied, " In all seriousness, I just meant that were ever I go with you is fun so", I dropped down onto the nearest building and sighed. Miles then landed on the building to join me.

"Sooooo?", he asked wanting me to finish my sentence.

"So nothing," I said getting flustered, "just.... just forget i said anything.", I said quickly flying away from him in the direction of my house, " I-I'll see you later Miles. Bye!"

"W-wait (y/n)!", Miles said in the distance as I flew away until I couldn't see him anymore.

"Ugh... Good job Morales...," Miles said to himself as he sat down, hitting himself in the head, "You blew your chance to tell her!"

A while later....

When I finally made it to my house, I flew up to the fire escape near my room and tried to open the window from the outside. The only thing was it wasn't budging, and I could have swore I left it unlocked before I left.

Then I realized what happened I hit my head on the window, whispering, " (b/n) when I get into the house, you are so dead."
My brother, (b/n), must have locked the window after I left, because I didn't let him use my credit card to buy seasons on Fortnight earlier today.

Looking through the window I thought that I could probably teleport my way into my room with my power, but I didn't perfect that skill yet, and using it would end up destroying my room in the process if I tried. Sighing, I realized I would probably have to sneak my way from the front door into my room.

I climbed down the fire escape and went through the main door of the apartment house, making sure I wasn't seen, and climbed up the stairs to my home which, was on the 5th floor. Grabbing the key above the door that (s/f/n), my step-father, leaves in case he comes home drunk and loses his keys, I slowly opened the door and tip-toed through.

(s/f/n) was passed out on the couch again surrounded by bottles of beer, as usual, so I easily snuck passed him and headed toward my room. However, as soon as I opened the door and stepped inside I ended up walking back outside my apartment building.

"What?", I said surprised, and then when I realized what happened I shouted, "(b/n)!" And ran back up the stairs to our apartment.
If there was one trait (b/n) ever got from out mother, after she passed, it was the plasmic power she had been born with, but he wasn't as fluent at using it as me. In fact, the only thing he could do was create portals, which is something I can't.

Climbing up the last step I ran to the door to open it, but (b/n) put the chain on the door so I couldn't get through.

"(B/n)! Open the door!", I whisper-shouted.

"And why should I?" (B/n) remarked smirking at me.

"You little sh-", I almost commented, but I held my tongue, since I knew it wouldn't help me get let me in. "You know you can't just lock my outside because I didn't let you spend MY money."

"Well the way I see it," (b/n) said his smirk growing wider, "I can do whatever I want, and you should have been home, OH, I don't know, 6 hours ago, so I wonder what (s/f/n) would say to see you outside right now." he remarked slowly walking to the living room to wake him up.

"WAIT!!", I shouted making him turn then upon realizing how loud I was I whispered, "Wait, okay I'll let you use my credit card."

"I don't think that's gonna cut it anymore (y/n) ", (b/n) said returning to the door, "Now the deals increased to not only buying me two Fortnight seasons, but getting me a new gaming controller of my choice. No matter the cost."

Glaring at him, I realized I had no choice but to agree to his deal, and since he knew I had no choice but to agree, his smirk began to laugh.

"Deal", I said letting out a big sigh, "Now open the damn door." (B/n) the closed the door to take the chain off and then opened it to let me in.

"It was a pleasure doing business with you sis." (B/n) laughing and then ran back to his room before I could attack him.

Sighing, I went to my room, and laid down on my bed to listen to some calming music after dealing with my nuisance of a brother, and then, after calming down I started texting Miles about some places where we could go tomorrow.
