Nine ☾

I finished the conclusion to my essay and I'm currently highlighting mistakes, or words I could make better. I marked up my essay and re-read it to make sure I like how the parts I'm not changing sound. I'm also using quotes from books in my essay, are you surprised?

I listened to the howling winds and harsh snow batting against the windows of Mr.Ways classroom. I noticed how it is now dark outside looking almost as if it was nine at night. I peeked outside seeing a harsh snow storm, nobody else seems to notice.

Suddenly the lights in the classroom went out making the obnoxious girls scream and run to the jocks. I gulped. Remember when I told you I'm afraid of the dark.

I clutched my books to my chest and closed my eyes. We heard the crackling of the intercom letting us know someone is about to use the speakers.

"Attention students, there is a harsh storm currently which has caused us and the rest of the perimeter around the building to lose power. Would everyone please report to the gymnasium immediately. All teachers do headcount, and use your red folder procedures. I repeat, all students report to the gymnasium immediately and teachers follow red folder procedures."

"Alright come on you heard him." Mr.Way said grabbing something from the top shelf. Students were rushing out of the classroom as I slowly stood up terrified of the dark corners, and darkness of which shields my sight.

I can feel my heart pounding in my chest and I'm almost positive if you stood close enough you could hear it loud and clear. I felt something grab my arm making me jump with a gasp. I turned to see the shining of a leather jacket and looked up seeing calming eyes.

"Don't tell me you're scared of the dark principessa." I heard him whisper. I slowly nodded and he chuckled along with the rest of the guys. "You're okay doll." He said putting his hand on my back leading me out of the classroom, but not before I grabbed my things just incase we weren't coming back any time soon.

We walked through the halls hearing people obnoxiously yelling and seeing the flashlights on phones turned on. I pulled out my phone and turned on my flashlight, just as I did it shined in a face making me scream. I caught my breath and glared at Kai who was now laughing his ass off.

The school looks crazy creepy and without knowing it I grabbed onto Ethan's arm. He chuckled and I muttered a sorry letting go. "You're alright baby cakes." He said pulling me towards him from my waist. "Hey Liv did you see that?" Grayson asked staring down the pitch black hallway.

My breathing got heavy. "S-See what?" I asked quietly. "BOO!" Dylan yelled grabbing my waist making me yell and my eyes instantly filled with water. "Would you knock it off!" Ethan yelled. He picked up my phone which I dropped shining it by me but not directly in my face. I noticed his face drop when he noticed the water rolling down my cheeks.

"See what you fuck heads did?" He snapped looking over his shoulder. "Soc we're sorry." Alex said chuckling. I nodded slowly whipping my tears and continued walking with my books in my hands.

We entered the gym seeing groups of people together chatting. Some scared, some happy, some asleep, I just want to go home.

I looked around for Lee or my brothers but didn't see them. I walked over to the wall with mats on it sliding down the wall putting my light on my book and started reading.

"Attention students we are going to put you in groups by your class, so please go to your first hour teacher, I repeat go to your first hour teacher." The intercom blasted through my ears due to me sitting directly under a speaker on the wall.

I stood up bumping into Nick. "Nicky." I said hugging him. "Hey bubba are you okay?" He asked. I nodded. He kissed my cheek. "I'll see you when this is all over okay?" He asked. I nodded. "Love you bubby." I said quietly. "Love you too bup." He said. I kept walking seeing Max in the line with his group of sophomores.

"Livy." He said smiling. I smiled and hugged him. "Here." He said handing me a night light. I smiled widely and hugged him harder. "Thanks Maxy." I whispered. He rubbed my back. "Love you sissy." He said. I kissed his cheeks as I did Nicks. "Love you too Maxy." I said then walked away looking for Mr.Ways line.

I bit my lip looking around until I noticed the group of leather jackets and immediately knew who they belonged to. I walked to the group holding tightly to the night light which Max gave me. He always carry's one for me, he's never forgotten it. He carried it for situations like this because he knows how much I hate being in the dark.

"There She is." Alex said peeking over Graysons shoulder. I smiled and stood in the line with them.

We waited another ten minutes of just standing in line as everyone found their groups. "You're shaking." Grayson said from behind me. I turned around. I nodded. "I d-don't like the dark." I whispered. He nodded. "I noticed." He said. I smiled and looked down.

"Attention everyone. We will all need to report to the underground bunkers until further notice, I repeat, report to the underground bunkers until further notice."  

I didn't know those were real, I thought the bunkers were a myth. The bunkers under our school have a bunch of beds, blankets, food, and water for emergency situations.

I followed the rest of my group as we walked towards a door which I'm assuming leads to the bunker. I held the spine of my book as long as my back pack and night light. I'm one of the only people who grabbed my back pack, and I'm so thankful I did.

In my back pack I have some good stuff that will make it easier to be in the bunker for who knows how long. I have books, a lot of snacks.. like a lot, and some other things.

I looked around the section of the huge bunker which my class was in seeing about twenty beds, so some people will be sharing due to my class having about twenty eight people. The walls were dull and concrete, and everything was gray. I walked to the bed next to the wall sitting down, putting my back pack down turning on the night light.

The guys soon followed and Dylan and Ethan sat on my bed as Kai and Grayson took the bed next to me and Alex stood by the wall next to me.

"I'm fucking bored already." Dylan said. "I-is anyone hungry?" I asked. "Yeah, but the food down here is shit." Grayson said from the bed about three feet from me. I smiled reaching in my bag grabbing out some sour gummy worms. I tossed them to him making him smile hugely.

"I think I'm in love." He said looking at me making me giggle. "Alright alright.. truth or dare time bitches!" Kai said clapping his hands grabbing peoples attention.

"Alexandria truth or dare?" Kai asked Alex earning a glare from him. "Dare." He said immediately. "I dare you too.. little bitch I dare you to slap that socs ass, you won't." He said pointing to Meloney Myles. She's a real obnoxious witch.

Alex smirked. He ran up behind Meloney who was talking to her friends and slapped her ass. "Damn you're all bones Jesus Christ." Alex said shaking his hand. Meloney slapped him making him chuckle and walked back to us. I shook my head.

"Gray truth or dare?" Alex asked Grayson who had like eleven gummy worms in his mouth. "Dare bitch ass." He mumbled. Alex smirked. "I dare you Gracie.. to moon Mr.Way." Alex said. He shrugged. He stood up and my jaw dropped.

"You're just gonna let him d-do that?" I whispered to Ethan. He shrugged and nodded. My eyes widened. Grayson continued to do his dare earning just a chuckle from Mr.Way. This school I swear.

"Alright soc truth or dare?" Grayson asked. I looked up from my book. "Um..truth." I said quietly. "What's the dirtiest thing you've ever done?" He asked. I bit my lip thinking. I've never done anything. "Nothing?" I asked. They chuckled. "You have to do a dare then." He said.

I gulped and slowly nodded. "I dare you to..oh shit, I dare you to take off your shirt.."

My jaw dropped and my palms got sweaty.

"Fuck no."
