I sat there not knowing what to think. Ethan whispered things in my ear making me feel guilty for not listening once to what he was saying. He held me in his lap as Benny drove us to wherever doub- my parents wanted us to go.
My parents.. or the people who faked their deaths on my fourteenth birthday, and have been assassins all along. How's your family life?
"It will be okay kitten." He whispered kissing the back of my neck making me warm and turn around and straddle him. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and leaned forward laying my head on his shoulder as he rubbed my now arched back up and down.
I sighed in content as I lifted up my hands and ran my hands through his hair, lightly brushing my nails against his scalp. He seemed to like this due to his reaction being him humming and putting his head in my neck letting me continue.
I kissed his neck softly as I continued feeling him smile against my shoulder. I pulled away to relax and rest my hands on his shoulder but him looking up with a pout caught my eye. I smiled watching him give puppy dog eyes, and pout his bottom lip making me quietly giggle.
I put my hands back in his hair running my fingers through it slowly as I nuzzled my head back in his broad shoulder and pecked his neck before closing my eyes and feeling him hug my waist tighter, and pull me closer if that was possible.
He ran his fingers up and down my back under my hoodie relaxing me causing my eyelids to become heavy, and every once and a while me to slip away, but continue playing with his hair.
I opened my eyes and stopped, sitting up when the car came to a stop, and I groaned putting my head in the crook of his neck taking in his intoxicating cologne that drives me crazy.
"vieni su Coccinella." He said pulling his head out of my shoulder and pressing his warm lips to my cheek softly. I smiled at his action and nodded wiggling off of his lap, and stepping out as Benny opened the door for me. (Translation> come on ladybug)
I smiled at Benny thanking him as he just nodded and did a little bow making me giggle quietly. He's a big teddy bear I swear.
You know those big boxes of giant teddy bears at like Walmart? Benny deserves a spot there!
Ethan intertwined our fingers causing him to completely wrap his big hand around my little one. He was like my tether, everything feels so surreal, without him I might just float away.
Like the house from 'Up.'
We walked together up a big driveway with Benny close behind us, leading to a factory type building. It was all concrete and had no windows. Homey.
