A baby is born

It has officially been 8 months and 3 weeks. The baby wasn't due for another few weeks, yet here we are. I'm hooked to IV's and i pretty sure I'll go into labor soon. Colby is sitting in the chair beside me half asleep. I cant blame him, Its 4 am. Then something ran across my mind. "Hey Colby?" i asked. " Yes honey," he said waking up more. " What gender do you think the baby is?" I asked. We both decided to wait till the birth to know the babies gender. Although Devon was mad at us because she wanted to start shopping for the baby. " I think its going to be a girl," He said with a smile. " Why do you say that?" I asked curious behind his resonng. " I don't know, I think if it is a girl it will be a mini you," He said with one of his bright smiles. I smiled back at him.
"Hey Colby, If it is a girl what do you want to name her?" I asked him. "I don't know. Maybe something like kelsey, Keyanna, or something like Avery," he said. "I like those names," I said. We smiled at eachother. Then it all happened so quickly. I felt the contractions coming in and out. "Colby get the doctor I'm going into labor," I yelled. Colby shot up from the chair and found the doctor. He got me all set and ready to go, The 1 hour later, he started telling me to push. The pain was unbearable, so Colby gave me his hand to squeeze if i wanted to. I'm also pretty sure I broke his had. After 3 hours of labor, I pushed one last time. Then I heard a health little scream. All the pain I endured seemed to go away. "It's a girl," The nurse said as she layed the baby down on my chest. I snuggled her for a minute before The nurse took her back to get cleanned up. While the baby girl was getting cleaned up, the doctor helped me clean up a bit.
"Ok ma'me do you have a name for this little Angel," The doctor said. " Yes I think I do. I think her name should be Avery Angel Brock," I said looking at my new baby girl. " Thats a  beautiful name ma'me," one of the nurses said. " Ya it is," Colby said. Then he kissed me on the forhead and Avery on the forhead. I decided to breast feed my little girl, while Colby called everyone and let them know the baby had arrived and some other details. I turned my head to look at the clock on the wall that read 10:32 a.m.
Colby took a selfie with him, me and Avery, and posted it on instagram with a caption that said 'My family, with the new addition of Avery Angel Brock. It didn't take long for visiters to show up. first was of course my family. Brennen walked up to colby and gave him a bro hug. Then mom walked over to see the baby. " She sure has a lot of your hair color," She said. "I know she has a lot of hair for just being born a couple of hours ago. " You did good brother," Brennen said to  Colby. " Ya I did, not only did I get a beautiful wife, but a beautiful daughter," He said. I smiled at him and w shared a liht kiss. Soon, my family left, and the roomates arrived. Everyone congradulated me and Colby. And each took a turn holding her. They commented on how she looked so much like me, Granted her eyes were still closed.
The last people to arrive was the vlog squad, well A few of them anyways. David had the best reaction in my opinion. I gave the baby to david while Joe filmed for David. As soon as David held little Avery he started to cry a bit. "Wow she's so cute," he said handing her to me. Everyone got a chance to hold Avery, and talk to me. I got a hug from everyone before they left. We decided to oeder some dinner and call it a night. I handed Avery to Colby, and ordered some room service. When I hung up I smiled at Colby cooing over Avery, I know he is going to be a great father. Then Avery opened her eyes! She had Colby's bright blue eyes. They seemed to sparkle as he held her.
Time Skip
After we ate colby climbed int my hospital bed and lad down next to me and Avery. And I fell asleep thinking, that wishes really do come true sometimes though you gotta make them happen.
