The worst day ever

Ericas pov:

I woke up in the apartment that Lucy and I share. I looked at my alarm clock and it read 9:30. All i heard was the city noises that I'd grow used to. I lived in New York city basically my whole life. I forced my self out of bed. I was not a morning person. I was a night owl Lucy on the other hand was an early bird and got up at 6 am every morning. I have no idea how she does it. I went to my closet and pulled on this 

I also put on some mascara and red lipstick. I didn't really need face make up because 1 I somehow have a flawless face, and 2 it's my day off. I also added my skull necklace. I ran down stairs to see what Lucy was doing. When I got down there Lucy wasn't there, that's when I saw the note on the fridge. It read I'm sorry for leaving you but i had to fill in for another vet today, so I won't be home till late tonight. I also made some breakfast for you it's in the fridge. Love ya. Sincerely Angel Lucy.  I sighed usually we would spend our off days together. Well I guess its not her off day anymore. I know she didn't have to go fill in for that vet. She volunteered to, sometimes I don't know how she can be so calm and nice. Well I could call into work today and say that I could work, but... nah.  I make most of the money out of Lucy and I. I mean I am a bounty hunter in one of the biggest crime rate cities in the US. I usually get paid about 5,000 dollars a person, sometimes even higher. Well I had made extra money this week, might as well go shopping. So I grabbed my MCR wallet and headed out. As I was getting into my black Mercedes Benz my phone dinged. As I started the car I looked at it. It was from my brother Brennen. I opened it right away I haven't heard  from him in a while. (B- Brennen E- Erica)

B- hey haven't talked to you in a year or so, hope you have the same number. How are you holding up. 😊

I pulled the keys out of the car so I had all my attention to my phone.

E - Ya I still have the same number, and I'm doing good. Me and my friend Lucy share an apartment and I have a well paying job. I miss you, I always wished I could have lived with people who love me, until I found Lucy.

B - I'm so sorry you had to live with that monster. We miss you and love you. Hey do you watch my videos on youtube. Sorry to seem rude.

E - I haven't missed one ever. And it's ok tell mom I love her.

B - yay you do watch my videos, so you know what I look like currently. And mom said she loves you too. But I still don't know what you look like. 😟

E - if I send you a picture will you stop bugging me.

t wasn't taken today, but it's still resent.

B -  I knew I could be the only child with green eyes! And you have a nose piercing.

I put the keys back in my car and drove off. I went to the down town mall. Usually I was crowded but their weren't many people their, well it is Monday so most people are probably working. The first thing I did was get Starbucks. Ya ya I know what your thinking typical white girl, well actually I part Hispanic so ha! And I'm not blonde. So ha, stupid stereotypes! I paid for my coffe then when to forever 21 and I found the perfect matching outfits for me and lucy.

She would obviously where the best, because she doesn't swear. I got a couple of other things then went to hot topic, then bought a couple of things the left. This went on for about 2 hours. I decided I should get some lunch so I walked into Pannera and got something. I got bored so I decided to head home. When I got home I put my bags in my room. I saw my huge pile of laundry in my hamper and decided I should do laundry. I dumped my laundry in the washer and started it. I decided to make some popcorn and binge watch stranger things. 
~ 5 hours later~ 
I had finished watching season one and my laundry. I've already watched season one, but I decided to watch it again because I loved it so much. I checked the the time it read 7 pm. I was sad that Lucy hadn't shown up yet, but I was exhausted so I decided to take a quick nap.
Time skip
I woke up at 12 am to my phone blowing up. Then someone called me I picked up the phone and answered.
Phone call
Ma'ma is this Erica Taylor.
Yes this is her.
Your friend Lucy has been in a horrible car accident with your father. They are both in cridicle condition and I advise you come visit them.
I'm on my way.
End of phone call
I can't even tell you how fast I drove and how fast I ran up to the hospital room they said Lucy was in. When I walked in I dropped to the floor crying. Lucy was in the hospital bed. All you could see was her crystal blue eyes. I composed myself and walked to her side. Her raspy voice scarred me a bit.  Erica? Yes it's me Lucy. I'm sorry. For what? We were supposed to spend the day together.
Are you kidding me I just want you to get better. Oh ok. Hey Erica. Ya. I don't think I'm gonna make it. Lucy how dare you say that. But it's true. I'm not a fighter Erica. At this point I was crying a lot. I'm sorry but your dad didn't make it. Now I was crying harder. Erica listen to me. Before I go there is something I want to tell you. What. I gave most my will to you. Including all of my current money. I want you to drain my bank account, sell  all the furniture,  and donate my things to charity. Ok. Ok is that it. No I want you to move to L.A.so you can be with your family. And every time you miss me I want you to hang up a picture of us up on a wall. And the last and most important thing I want you to be the strongest devil ever. I want that every morning when you feet hit the floor I want the devil to say oh no she's up. Ok. Please promise me that. Ok i promise. By this piont her voice was getting fainter and we were both in tears. Erica this is my goodbye to you, most people dont get one but you did. Just remember im an angel so ill be watching you. Also i love you you were the best friend ever. Please dont go please. I love you too you were the best friend ever. I have to say goodbye. So goodbye. I love you and goodbye. As soon as i said goodbye her heart moniter stopped and went to a strait line the doctors rushed in. And the doctor looked up at me with a sour face and shook his head meaning she was gone. I ran out of the hospital bawling and drove with tears blocking my veiw. When I got to my apartment I collapsed on the floor. I can't believe it my angel was dead now all that was left was the devil. I went to Lucy's room and cried for hours. Until I cryed myself to sleep, while holding onto a picture of us when we were teens. It was Halloween and we were dressed up as an angel and a devil.
