"What are we going to do?" Mally asked.
"All we can do is wait for Iracebeth to wake and for Alice and Mirana to finish a locator spell for Time," Zanik replied.
"What the reason he's gone is that the man passed and the body disappeared," Hetty mumbled.
"Don't think like that besides, we'd know if that happened, there would be a catastrophic effect on Time itself," Tarrant chided his sister.
"I'm sorry, you know I have a habit of thinking the worst and then saying it out loud," she mumbled.
"Don't worry, Hetty, we've found him, he's in the Outlands," Alice said upon re-entering the room with Mirana.

In all the signs of relief, no one heard Iracebeth's door open, so they where all shocked when she rasped out, " who have you found and what in wonderland happened here."
"Racie, you're alive!" Mirana exclaimed immediately.
"Of, course I'm alive, why wouldn't I be," the queen of hearts was confused, but the after a moment, "My head hurts." Then she raised her hands to her head and moved her hands all over it, when finally she realised that the worst thing had just happened, her head had swelled back up to a huge size, yet the grim look on everyone's faces told that there were more horrific things for her to learn. "Tell me everything."
"What do you remember," Alice cautiously questioned.
"Time, he arrived at tea, with a name on his lips that I hadn't heard in years and a tale of treason about to unfold. By the time I was face to face with him he finished recounting his meeting with the forgotten man and after that everything went black."

The group all contributed to telling Iracebeth what happened next, but what stuck in Iracebeth's mind was that even now when was trying to change her ways, she was still bringing death. Another person to add to the list of people's deaths you regret, she thought bitterly. Always on the forefront of her mind, Time's state worried her deeply. And Tarrant could see the pain in her eyes.

"Don't worry," the mad hatter advised.  "Even if Felmont was strong enough to kill time, he wouldn't simply because that would catastrophic for all. He doesn't want that, he only wants to kill yourself and Mirana."
Realisation suddenly dawned on Mirana, "of course, that's it,"
"What's it your majesty?" the Cheshire cat asked.
"Its bugged me since he left,  but why did Felmont run away, abandoned his quest to kill me when he killed Thackeray, the answer is; he really doesn't want anyone else to die, just Racie and I, so the rest of you are safe, well relatively," Mirana babbled.
"So, he died a noble death then, protecting queen and relm," Tarrant mumbled.
"Yes Tarrant," the white queen confirmed.
"Then we seriously need to hurry up and find time," Alice stood and starred preparing.
"As much as I believe find Time be a necessity, what does the March Hare's death have to do with it?" Iracebeth for the first time since being told the events that lead them to this point.
"When you die Time closes your watch, to send you on to the afterlife, but what about those who are dying and have died in his absence," Alice replied ominously.
"I don't want find out, hurry we must put Thackeray to rest," and with that,  Tarrant was rushing out the door.
