The bell rang just in time as I found my seat beside the window. While waiting for the teacher, I looked over the window, welcomed by the sight of the wide field of the school. Students are walking and playing around. A certain tree at the far end of the field caught my attention. Students rarely pass by it which made it my favorite place to relax during break time. As I was about to remember my time with the tree, our english professor came in.

"Good morning class," he greeted us.

"Good morning Sir!" everyone greeted back whilst mine saying "Morning" only with a bored look.

As I was about to sit back, a jerk at the back of my seat pulled my chair and I almost fell on the floor.

"WHAT THE HECK!" I cursed with anger giving the jerk a deadly stare. I can hear some giggle who witnessed it. Is he planning on making me look dumb in front of others again?!

As I looked in his ugly face, I remembered that it was him whom I punched last time which made us sent to the detention room. Truth be told, I know he is handsome, but I don't give a care in his stupid face. I prefer making it my punching bag. That would do the trick!

It made my blood boil more as I saw him smirk. That stupid jerk!

"Ms. West, is there something wrong?" our professor asked.

"Well, this asshole just pulled my chair and I almost fall down. Haha! So funny!" That is what I really wanted to reply to our professor who got distracted when he was about to announce something. Since, it is the first  day of school, I'll let it pass, for now. I don't want anyone ruining my day, but he just did!

"Nothing Sir," I replied back with a blank expression. I saw fear escaped in his eyes, but he washed it away in just a second with a reply, "Okay. Take your seat then."

Looking back, I gave him a look saying "Do it again and you're dead!" The smirk on his face only got wider. I swear I wanted to rip his mouth. I gave my attention back to the teacher with impatience.

"Okay class! Since it the first day of school, we won't be having any lessons for today," he announced.

The room was filled with excitement and cheering thinking they wouldn't be doing anything else. This is school assholes, not a bar. I bet he is still not finifhed with what he's saying. He always doesn't fail to surprise us.

"So all of you will be making an essay on how you pent your vacation," he added. See? What did I told you?

The whole class started to groan and complain. Fortunately, I agree with them. Why do he don't has any originality? It has been always like this for years, ever since in our middle school. What's wrong with them? They've been repeating this shit every year. I am not in the mood in making some sassy essay.

I talked back, "Sir don't you have any interesting topics beside that? We've been doing that for centuries. Give some PRIVACY." I said the last word with force with my eye narrowed and annoyed look.

"Well, it's your CHOICE anyway Ms. West," he said giving force in the 'choice' word with his eyes narrowed too staring back at me, "I'll be giving a hundred points for this activity."

I sighed in defeat. It's true it's my choice anyway, whether I want to have my grades or not. I groaned whilst starting to write about my long vacation. I swear I'll make this long talking about girly stuffs my mom told me to do during our world trip. He better read it all. I smirked at him with the plan I thought and his eyebrows met in curiousity. He sat down in his chair and scan some files whilst the room was filled with silence.

After an hour of silence, I sighed in relief staring at my five pages essay. I even wrote something at the end of the paper telling him 'You better read this all!" Aftermath, my poor right hand ached. I'm glad that the jerk at my back behaved. Oh yeah! Thinking back, you didn't know him yet. He is Ray Mark Salvatore, a family friend, but more like a frenemy. We used to play together when we were kids, but he always tease me. He's the only one brave enough  to treat me like that.

I made my way out of the room to my next class. Luckily, the jerk wasn't there so the hour passed quickly and peacefully.

Ray Mark POV

It's good to be back at school. I can finally meet with my friends. My vacation was hell. I was helping with the business and it gave me headache. It was a lot of work! Being so busy, I occasionally go to the bar to drink and be surrounded by chicks. I  never had any serious relationships. All we just did was flirt and make-out.

I was sitting here at the second row near the window. I'm staring at the field looking at different faces walking around while waiting for our professor. Suddenly, the atmosphere became cold. I peeked over the door to see who came. I smiled when I saw her, Roxy Mae West. I always wanted to tease her. She always had that funny face which amuse me. She went straight to the chair in front of me taking in the view outside. She looked like she was in deep thought. A minute later, the professor came in and greeted us a "Good morning." I replied back with a smile on my face.

I noticed that Roxy had this bored look on her face. I smirked when I decided to have fun. Just when she was about to sit down, I pulled her chair making her stumble and almost falling down.

"WHAT THE HECK!" she screamed and gave me a death glare. Man! That almost destroyed my eardrums.  I smirked back making her look more annoyed.

The proffesor got distracted and asked her, "Ms. West, is there something wrong?"

I almost bursted out into laughter as I heard him asked. He's also an idiot! Why would he ask if something is wrong when he knew that something is wrong? I saw Roxy looking more annoyed with his question. Looks like we're thinking of the same thing.

She calms herself while breathing in deeply before turning around to look at the teacher. "Nothing Sir," she replied back. She sat down carefully as our professor told him so.

I was about to write on my paper when I remembered what dad told me. We we're eating breakfast this morning when he told me something that almost made me choke.

-flashback-

I was having a great time eating my breakfast. I forgot to eat last night. I was so tired from the trip back home which made me sleep early.

"Ray, do you have a girl already or someone that takes your interests?" mom asked me.

"Nope. I'm too busy for that," I replied. It's true anyway. I don't have time for any serious relationship because all I cared about iss business.

"That's good to hear son," dad told me, "because we decided to give you an arrange marriage with one of our business partners."

Fuck! I coughed, choking. My mouth was full of this delicous food when he told ma that.

"WHAT?!" I asked in shock.

"Yes!" mom said happily, "their daughter already agreed with the arranged marriage."

Thinking about mom what mom said, it couldn't be Roxy because she don't have a care in the world and hate love.

"Dad, no! It's too early for me!" I argued completely disagreeing. I don't want to be tied with anyone else yet.

"Oh come on! You'll get married when you finished your studies," mom said, "The engagement wedding will be prepared within three months."

Three months?! I don't even know the girl yet.

"Bu-," I was cut off on was about to say when dad spoke. "No buts mister, or else you won't be able to claim the company."

-end of flashback-

Oh geez! This is going to be hard.

I'm here walking through the field. Students are still noisy as ever. I saw the soccer team playing, when suddenly, I heard a girl called my name and a hard thing hit my head. The force was great and the next thing I knew, everything was black.
