Chapter 7

Before I knew it was Friday.
Right now it's approximately 3 pm and I'm already scared of my life. I know you probably think that I overreact but I'm scared as fuck of horror movies. I don't understand why people like this kind of movies.
The last hours I tried to convince my brothers to change their mind I even pleaded! But they still won't change their minds.

I looked at the clock in my room.
It's exactly 3:15 pm so that means that my brother's friends will come over in 15 min.
Just great.

I decided to take a shower since I'm done with all my homework and the shower will hopefully calm me down.
However, my plan was destroyed only seconds later by my brothers. Or to be specific by a knock on my door.
Leo walked in before I had even the time to answer.
"You should come downstairs the boys will be here any minute." He said smirking.
"But I just wanted to take a shower," I responded.
"Well, I don't care and don't disobey me." He said this time a bit more intense.
I know I should just do what he said but my stupid mind thinks it would be better to start an argument-fight-thing.
"You know Leo, I would probably only destroy your boys night. I think you'll be better off without me. I can do... do stuff in my room so I don't disturb you." I replied hopefully.
He just nods in disagreement and that was the moment even my mind realized that I lost.
Before I could say anything to defend myself he threw me over his shoulder and went downstairs. I hid his back with my hands but he couldn't care less. He first let me down when we walked into the living room where everyone else was.

"Hello, Hailey how nice of you to finally join us," Max said smirking af.
"Well you know I hadn't really much of choice but thanks," I answered sarcastically and with a fake smile.
"Drop that attitude immediately Hailey!" Aiden said seriously.
The other boys tried to hold back their laughter but like I said they tried and I promise you they were freaking bad at it.
After a while, they calmed down and I found myself sitting between Max and his friend Paul.
The movie had just started but I was already scared for my life. Like seriously why have  clowns have to be that scary?!
I decided to try my best to sneak as often as possible away. I excused myself several times to go to the bathroom or to change in some more comfy clothes.
Right now I was in the kitchen making snakes for all of us.
I took with intention my time but I think my brothers will find out soon my little 'game'.
After 10 min of kind of hiding in the kitchen I know, I had to go back to them. So I brought one bowl of popcorn after another in the living room. After the popcorn, I brought in the candies and chocolate as well as some drinks.

When I was about to walk out of the room again Dylan said: "Don't you dare to walk through this door me lady!"
I stopped immediately and turned around feeling quite uncomfortable.
"You really thought we wouldn't notice that you were trying to come up with excuses not to watch the movie?" Leo said with a satisfied expression on his face.
"I... uh... I didn't uhm... well maybe?" I replied but it sounded more like a question an answer.
"Now that this is clarified, you can come back and sit with us so you can watch the movie," Max said satisfied. He is enjoying this way too much right now!
I walked slowly back to my spot and sat down. Max and even Paul looked smirking down to me.
Urgh, I hate them!!

When I said that earlier with the clowns and how scary they are I didn't know that this was one of the harmless scenes.
Every then and now I hid my face behind a pillow or in Max's shoulder.
To my surprise said nobody anything about it.
I was glad though.
At around 11:20 pm Paul got a call from his mom that he and his brother should come back because of something I don't really know.
That means that now only my brothers are still here and unfortunately they still want to watch that damn movie.
With the time I got pretty tired and fell asleep.

Later I felt someone lifting me up bridal style. I opened my eyes to see Max. He smiled when he noticed that I was awake.
"Is it over?" I ask him, my voice sounded sleepy.
He chuckled and said then:" Yes, you made it. Even if you fell asleep and missed the half movie I'm proud of you."
With that, we reached my room. He lied me down carefully and wanted to walk out but I said:" Please don't go. Can I stay with you?
I'm way too scared to sleep alone."
He chuckled again but nodded in agreement. Max lifted me up again and walked over to his room.
He lied down next to me and I immediately cuddled myself in his chest and he puts his arms around me.
I always felt safe with one of my brothers.
And with that, I fell into my dream world.
