My life was pretty normal before I found something out that changed my life forever...
I knew I was in some deep shit when the words left Aiden's mouth. Why can't he just forget it?! "So? I'm waiting for an explanation." He said. I looked over to Leo. He gave me the 'If you tell him I'm going to kill you and tell them your secret' gaze. Because I was scared that he would really tell mine I said "I just mixed things up a little. You know up their" I tapped with my fingers of my head "I don't know why I said that but believe me everything is fine." I tried to sound calm but I'm not sure if it worked. "You know you are a bad liar, Hailey?" Aiden states more than asking. I smiled timidly. "I don't know what you are hiding from me or why but you are off the hook today because I'm way too tired right now." I made my way almost immediately after he said that in my room. When I sat down of my bed I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. Only seconds later someone knocked on my door and also entered without permission. "Thank you, Hailey," Leo said. I smiled back and said then:" It's fine. I guess we are just lucky that Aiden is not in the mood for that right now." He smiled and came over to hug me. I hugged him back and then he left my room without another word.
It was late so I decided to go to bed. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, did my cleaning routine and changed into my pj's. I opened my door and shouted 'good night everybody'. Only seconds later I heard 'good night, Hailey', ' good night, little sis' and 'sleep well, love ya' as a response from my brothers. I love you so much, guys! I then went to bed and drifted into a dreamless sleep.
I woke up around 8:15 am the next morning because of the birds. The sun was about to rise. I stand up and walked over to my big window to open it then I took some deep breath and did a little bit yoga. Around 8:30 am I was getting hungry so I made my way into the kitchen and made myself a smoothie.

I drunk it in silent. After finishing the whole glass I decided to go to the gym. So I walked back into my room to change in some black pants, a sports bra, and a jacket.

Before I went I wrote a note to my brothers so they wouldn't worry.
When I arrived at the gym I made my workout routine. After 1,5 h I was totally done. I was just about to exit the gym when someone screamed my name. I turned around to see Simon. My heart immediately starts to beat faster. "Hey," He said as he stands next to me. "Hey What are you doing here? " I replied smiling. "I just wanted to go to the cafe at the corner to grab a coffee when I saw you." "Do you want to uh.. come with me?" He asked then a bit shy. "I'd love to"
We reached the cafe within 5 min. While we were walking we played 20 questions and I learned a lot about him. He is a really sympathetic guy. We both ordered an iced caramel latte to go. While we waited for our drinks the waitress tried to flirt with Simon. He looked quite uncomfortable with that and I couldn't help but chuckle. After a few minutes, we took our drinks and headed out. "The waitress is totally in love with you!" I said laughing now. "I know. This is so awkward. I mean she is like 28 and I'm 17." Then we both burst out laughing. He is so cute when he laughs.
We were both so into our conversation that we didn't notice that we were only a few steps away from my house. I quickly said goodbye and walked inside. I had a really good time with him. The door closed behind making a loud noise. Great. To my luck, all of my brothers were within a few seconds downstairs. "Hailey?! Why the hell did you make such a noise in the morning?" "You scared the shit out of us!" "Never do this again or you're grounded." "My destination for today was to sleep but because of you I can't do this anymore!" I chuckled. All of my brothers shouted at me and I'm not sure why I found this funny. They glared at me and then I couldn't help but burst out laughing. They look so hilarious. I mean sorry but my brothers had all only sweats on and their hair looked like a total mess and on top, they tried to glare at me even though one could see that they are all still almost asleep. Before I knew it I felt someone lifting me up. Leo. "Put me down, Leo!" I shouted but he didn't care. "Leooooo pleaseee" still no response. But I heard laughter behind me. And then I realized where he was heading too. "No no no, Leo don't you dare to throw me in the pool!! I'm warning you!!!!" He laughed. "Aw is someone scared?" He asked me visibly amused. "Have a good flight!" He said almost dying of laughter, My other brothers as well. The next thing I felt was the cold water- and another splash. I swim to the surface and saw Leo next to me. Now I was the one that laughed her ass off. "Yeah yeah funny. I got it, Hail." He said monotony. Only seconds later, Max, Aiden, and Dylan joined us. We played for 30 min and decided then to get out. I jumped off Max back and he carried me piggyback into the kitchen. Michelle smiled at us. "You must be hungry? What do you want me to make you?" She asked us with her Russian accent.
It doesn't take us long to think about what we wanted to eat. We said in unison 'chocolate chip pancakes with caramel sauce'.She laughed and started making the dough.
Michelle's chocolate chip pancakes are the best ones I ever ate and I ate quite a lot. In the meantime, she was making our breakfast we all went back into our rooms to take a show and change into dry clothes. After 15 min I heard Michelle saying that the pancakes were ready. I didn't hesitate to walk downstairs and so are my brothers. One thing we all had in common is that we are in love with food. Who isn't?
After we ate my phone buzzed. I was about to grab it but Aiden was faster. "Give it back!" I said immediately. "No way, sis." He said. He and my other brothers stared at the display and their face changed from amused to angry. Oh shit, what's going on? "Why is this Simon guy saying that he enjoyed your meeting or should I say date today?" Dylan asked furiously. The others looked up to me as well. I gulped. "It's not how it looks like." I started saying. "I met him today at the gym and we went to this cafe at the corner but we hadn't a date we just hang out together." My brothers looked immediately relief and so was I. "Your luck m' lady," Aiden said. "Can I have my phone then back now?" I asked carefully. He nodded and gave it back.
The rest of the day went by pretty uneventful. We watched together a movie and played soccer in our backyard. It's currently 10:45 pm and I'm tired so I decide to go to bed now. Hopefully, nothing will happen tomorrow. And with that thought I fall asleep.
I'm sorry I haven't uploaded in such a long time but I hope you like this chapter. In the next one, you will get a bit more action and Hailey will find out about a dark secret her family kept from her.
