My life was pretty normal before I found something out that changed my life forever...
One week has passed since the incident with Xavier. My brothers explained everything to me the next day. It turned out that he had help from one of the gang members. That's the part where my brothers were on the one side furious but one the other one totally disappointed. Long story short the traitor is since the day the truth came out gone. I don't really know what happened to him and I don't wanna know it. Anyways today is my first kickbox class and I am so excited!
"Hailey?" "Yeah?" "Be ready in 5'" Max said. "Okay" was all I answered before I rushed in my walk-in closet and looked for the perfect clothes to wear for my very first kickbox class!

(Her outfit) "Hailey? Are you coming?" I heard Max asking from downstairs. "I am almost ready... just one more..." I answered. "Hailey! Are you kidding me? C'mon I don't wanna wait hours for you just because your thing that holds your little strains in your hair back isn't working right!" "Ehm... excuse me but first my thing that holds my little strains in my hair back is working perfectly fine and by the way, it is called a bobby-pin, the second I can't find my phone!" I screamed back because I wasn't sure if Max would've heard me otherwise. "Oh gosh, Hailey!" I heard him sigh. "What?" "Your phone is on the kitchen counter! So get your butt down here before I lose my patience with you!" Max said annoyed. Did I forget it on the counter? Ups now I remember... I ran downstairs and grabbed my phone then said: " You see I said I would make it in time" Max rolled his eyes before saying "You are 6' too late." "Not true!" He raises one eyebrow. "Well maybe... but now I am ready so let's go before we waste more time." I ended the sentence with an innocent smile. "You are unbelievable, Hailey," Max mumbled under his breath. Well, I can live with that!
After about 15 min we arrived at the boxing club and my excitement rose in me. "You're okay?" Max asked slightly amused by my behavior. "Yes, of course, why do you think I am not?" I replied rather fast than slow. "Well first of, you bite your lip and you only do that when you are nervous. Second, you can't sit still. Third, you talked way too fast. Four-" Max trailed off. "Okay okay, I get! Yes, you were right I am indeed nervous." I said and walked out of the car. I waited outside for him. When he came he kissed my forehead and mumbled ti amo piccola sorellina and we walked together toward the entrance. [I Love you, Little sister] "Remember no talking to boys except to Marcus your trainer." "Yeah yeah got it can we go in now?" I asked impatiently
******************************************** After my first class, I was totally exhausted but I loved it!! It was so cool and made so much fun. I only learned the basics today but I am already totally loving it. Right now I am back in the car with Max who trained by the well as well there and we are on our way to a cafe. They sell there the best smoothies ever!
When we arrived some boys whistled at me and Max shot them immediately a glare. He then put his arm on my shoulders and walked with me in the store. Overprotective much?! I ordered my favorite smoothie the one with oranges, limes, frozen berries, non-dairy milk, dash turmeric, pinch pepper, bigger pinch cayenne, dates, and ice. Yummy Max ordered just a normal strawberry and banana milkshake.
When we arrived home I went showering and got ready for the day. Because Max and I went so early to the kickbox class it was now only 12 pm. While I sit on my bed and look through my phone I see tones of messages from Lexi and Luke. Gosh, I miss them! I wanted to tell and explain everything to them so badly but my family says that it is not the right time. I get want they're trying to do but these are my other half and I need to tell them that. So I made my way down to the pool where everyone else was enjoying the sun.
"Hey everyone," I said. "What are you up too?" Leo asked. "Why would you think that I am up to something?" I asked back trying to sound innocent. "You never walk in and say 'hey everyone'" Dylan answered. "Well... you're right l. I wanted to ask you if I could tell Lexi and Luke now everything. I mean I have gotten used to the whole situation and it's been a while since I properly talked to seem let alone met them because I couldn't lie them straight into the face." I stated. I looked hopefully and with my best puppy eyes to them. My brothers thought for a moment about it and communicated with looks. Which looked by the way really funny. After a while, Aiden said: " well we don't mind it but you tell them but you have to ask mom and dad first." "Thank you Thank you thank you!!!" Was all I said before I ran into my dad's office. I softly knocked at the door. I didn't have to wait long until I heard my dad saying ".Come in, Sweetie" I opened the door and walked into the room. "So what brings you here, princess?" My dad asked. I tried to sort my thoughts but in the end, it sounded more like "Canipleasetelllexiandlukeeverythingoratleastexplainapartofittothem? Therearemybestfriendsandimussthemsomuch,sopleasedad?" When I finished my dad looked at me like 'what the hell just happened'. But then he spoke: "Hailey if you speak that fast I can't understand anything." A smile made it's way up to his mouth. I took a mother deep breath and related then: " Can I please tell Lexi and Luke everything or at least explain a part of it to them? There are my best friends and I miss them so much so please?" After my words it went silent for a few seconds. Please please please, dad say yes! " Hailey I know you miss them and I understand that you want them to know but if you tell them they are in danger as well. This world is cruel and not anybody likes it let alone want to have anything to do with it. But if you are sure that you want them to know then you can tell them. But at first, you have to promise me that you are telling them only the necessariest things and no secrets or details about anything that might harm us." He said. When he said the last part his voice became serious. I nodded immediately and hugged him gratefully. "Thank you, dad, te amo," I said and left the room.
I didn't want to lose any time so I ran up to my room and called Lexi and Luke over Skype. After only a few rings they both plopped up at my screen. "Hey, my crazy best friends!" I said smiling and more than happy to see them again. "Hey Hailey" and "What's up?" were their responses. "Why are you calling?" Lexi asked. "Well, first of all, I wanted to apologize for cutting you out of my life in the past few weeks. And secondly, I wanted to explain myself to you so that you would understand everything and we could hang out again." I said sheepishly. "Then go on," Luke said. It took me more than an hour to explain everything to them but in the end, I felt like a weight had been lifted off of me. "Wow, that is a lot to process but now it all makes sense. I mean the abrupt loss of contact and your ignoring. I am glad you told it to us." Lexi said smiling. I looked at Luke and waited for his response. He was mostly quiet throughout the whole story. "Luke? What do you think?" I asked carefully. It went silent. I hope he still likes me. "Well... I think it is awesome! I mean how cool is that? You are in the mafia no scratch that your whole family is in the mafia and your dad is the boss and you live now in a mansion and we can go again to the cinema and-" Luke stopped. "I really missed you, Hailey." He stated honestly. "I missed you both as well." "Well, now that everything is settled we can go out like we used to right?" Lexi asked. "Yeah of course." Luke and I said at the same time which made all of us laugh. "How about we meet at 6 pm tomorrow at the mall and go from there together to the open air cinema?" Lexi asked happily. "Sounds good to me! You Hailey?" Luke asked. I thought for a moment about it but said then: "Deal. Tomorrow at 6 pm! I'll be there." And with that, we ended our conversation. I put my Mac book away and laid in my bed to think about everything. Tomorrow was going to be an amazing day. I only need to tell my family about my plans, I hope they are gonna be fine with them.
