Chapter 15

When I came out of the shower I actually wanted to just be on my phone and chill.
Watch some videos of the sister's squad and think about possible outfits for the dinner tomorrow but suddenly my whole life changed in only one second completely.

I just finished showering and laid on my bed when I heard a chuckle coming from the corner of my room.
My heart stopped beating for a second.
Then I slowly like really slow turned my head in the direction of corner where I heard the chuckle coming from. When I saw that something that made this noise I only wanted to scream but I couldn't.
I was so shocked that my body wasn't able to move. I just stared at the person.

It was a man. He was around 22, had golden hair, blue eyes and wore complete black clothes. His teeth are so perfect and white that he kind of reminds me of an angel.

But before my body was able to do something again he started talking to me - actually he more whispered.
"So you are the little Hailey." I just stared at him. Then he continued:" You are indeed a pretty girl no wonder that Liam tried to protect you and keep you out of all this." He smiled.
Why the heck is he smiling?!!!!!
And why has no one from my brothers or anyone else here noticed him?
"You know Hailey I think we are going to have a great time together."
Euhh what is he for a perv?
Finally, after what felt like 1738394 minutes my confidence and voice decided to come back to me.
"Well I don't think so - it was nice meeting Mister -"
"Xavier Del Regio" he added.
"Mister Xavier Del Regio but it would be the best if you leave now. We are pretty much done here and it's kind of creepy that a man that looks like 50 is in the corner of my room and who is on top of that a complete stranger to me. So there" I pointed to my door " is the door where you can go now through and please never come back." I told him. To my surprise wasn't my voice shaking a bit I even smiled at the end. Like what's going on with me? He could be a serial killer or a perv! Or both!
He chuckled again!
"You are really a handful Hailey Rose Ruggiero. When I first heard of the rumors that Liam has also a girl I didn't believe it. But now I want nothing more than you to be mine." Xavier said.
Omg, he is a perv! What does he think anyway?! I am not an object that he can have and I don't even like him!
I laughed nervously. "Well like I said before is it now time for you to go. And please come never back."
Then it went silent. Oh no, what did I do? He started clenching his jar and his knuckles turned white. Is he going to kill me?
"Listen Hailey you are not in the position to tell me what to do. You should be scared of me."
I started laughing. I don't really know why but he sounded like a little toddler that didn't get his toy from Walmart.
But only after a few seconds he looked at me like he is going to kill. And I tell you THAT LOOK IS SCARY so I immediately stopped laughing.
"You are coming with me." Was all he said before he walked over to me and tried to grab me. But I was luckily faster and jumped off my bed. I tried to reach my door but before I could open it I felt his hands around my body. I wanted to scream and tell him that he should fuck off but he casually put one of his hands on my mouth and with the other one he holds me tight so that I couldn't move.
Why has no one noticed what's going on in my room?
I feel Xavier's breath on my neck and stopped breathing.
"You belong to me little Hailey and I am going to take you with me." He made a pause then continued:" We are going now through your window. If you only try to escape I have to hurt you." And at this very moment, I noticed his gun in one of his hands. I gulped and tears rolled down my cheek.
He forced me to walk to my window and this was the moment where my fear turned into madness. I wouldn't let him win!
Because I never really fought before I did the first thing that came into my mind. It was probably not the best one but it gave me more time. I kicked my knee with so much force in his abdominal that he loosed his grip. I ran again to my door but was held back for the second time. I screamed and kicked him in the face. Even this was originally a move from cheer it worked perfectly.
Xavier sank on the ground but didn't stop fighting with me.
I kicked and boxed him with all my force until suddenly my door burst open and every single person that lived in the mansion looked at us.

"What the heck is going on?!" Aiden asked furiously.
"He... Xavier del something... tried to... kidna-" was all I could say before I fainted.
I don't really know what happened afterward but I felt someone picking me up and the next thing I know is that I'm in my bed on my way to my dreamland.

I woke up around 8 am. It is a beautiful day, the birds are tweeting and the sun is shining through my curtains in my room. I stretch myself and go to my huge window which leads to my balcony. The view is stunning. I can look down to the beautiful garden and a bit further away, sparkles the sea. This day was perfect until my memories from yesterday came back and with them a huge headache.
I immediately turned around to look if there is someone but to my luck, I was completely alone.
I decided to go downstairs to grab some painkillers but not before I swore myself that I am taking some sort of self-defense class because I never wanted to feel so weak and helpless again.
Arriving in the kitchen, I immediately go to the cabinet with the medicines. But luckily *note the sarcasm* are the painkillers on the very top shelf.
Seriously?
I tried to reach it by tiptoeing but even that didn't help a bit. Suddenly I hear someone chuckle. I turned around to be greeted by no one else than my lovely brother Max.
"What do you want, little sis?" He asked grinning.
I rolled my eyes inwardly.
"I try to get the painkillers but I can't reach them," I said.
Without another word went Max to the cabinet and grabbed them for me.
"Are you feeling better?" He asked this time lovely and caring.
"I'm -" I'm better or I'm fine, was what I wanted to say but I just couldn't because it's not the truth.
"I'm scared and I hate the feelings I had yesterday. I felt so weak and helpless..." I said instead. I lowered my voice to the end because I was kind of embarrassed to say that in front of Max even though he is my brother.
He didn't say something but hugged me. Now I couldn't hold my tears back. I cried in his arm.
"Shhh, it's over now, Hailey. We took care of him. Xavier will never come in your near again let alone touch you. I promise. I love you Hailey and I am so sorry we didn't come earlier." Whispered Max.
"I love you too, Max." Was all I could say.
