\John's POV/

We ran away from the tents as quick as our legs could carry us, the zombie noises echoed through the trees making chills run up my spine. I was getting tired now, I was a fast runner but I had extremely bad stamina! I blame my lazy mum for that! Too lazy too even take care of me... But let's not think like that at this time! Because if one of us does die, I want to keep them happy through the pain.

I looked over at everyone, they all seemed tired however they all had determination to survive smeared over their faces. There must be a way to stop this running madness!

Hmmmm... I've got it! "Guys I know we are all getting tired! So I've got TNT! I'm going to stop place it then carry on, so don't stop for me! I'll catch up! Okay?" I shouted trying to grasp the air to speak.

"Okay, see you on the other side my brother" Mat nodded at me and I took that as the signal to put my plan to action.

I stopped in place and turned to the noise of the zombies who were speeding through the forest to either eat our brains or to get a good chomp on us so they could have an extra member in their undead clan!

I quickly got my TNT out of my bag, there was 8 pieces, perfect! Just enough to hold these mindless creatures off! I rapidly placed the TNT on the damp dark green grass beneath my feet, I had placed them across the forest leaving around 5 blocks between them. I ran back to the middle one and placed a red stone torch next to it. Not looking back I slid behind a tree and held my ears tight limiting the sounds that could be heard.

BOOM

The TNT made some of the leaves of the oak tree I was hiding besides fall to the ground landing peacefully next to me. I smiled at the sight then turned to see the crater in the ground which I had made, it was such a beautiful sight seeing the green things flop into the hole. They will do anything for humans flesh but they are too stupid to realise how to do so.

I rubbed my hands together and took a deep breath in, the wind blew softly through the night, I raised my head to see the stars. I closed my eyes, this peace was perfect, I could live like this forever....

There was a sharp pain in my shoulder, I yelped in pain and spun around quick enough to fling the thing off me. I noticed that the 'thing' was a zombie!? I had been bitten!? No, No! it can't be true! Maybe it was just digging it's claws in! Wait they don't have claws! Or do they? Through my panic attack I didn't notice that the zombie was sloppily rushing to me, my red blood drooling from it's mouth.

"You are going to pay for that!" I full forced charged at him, I didn't even bother getting my sword, I'm a dead man anyway! I flung my fist back then when I was close enough I swung with all my might at the zombies head. A shattering sound loudly whirled around us as the zombies skull fell apart. "That's for ruining my life forever" I shook it's blood from my fist and walked off, I didn't pay attention to the fact that it's blood was dotted over the suit I had worked on for so long, or the fact that I was rapidly loosing blood from the chunk missing in my shoulder. I just had to get to my friends and tell them what happened then ask them to put me down so I can't hurt anyone.... especially not them... Never them.

I walked through the bushes where they were to see them looking at me wide eyed.

"I-I got bitten" I looked down, avoiding their looks of joy that I was going to soon be gone...

I heard some of them muter things like 'no', 'this can't be happening' or 'what do we do?' I looked up.

"Guys geez! Stoping trying to act sad that I'm going! I know you won't miss me!" I joked with a sad smile trying to cheer them up. It didn't work though, Apple was sitting down in a ball shaking, Flash was really confused, Mat was trying to hold back tears but it wasn't working where on the other hand Rhys was letting his emotions flow as we cried into Mats shoulder leaving a big wet patch and Jay was sobbing as she walked over to me.

Once she reached me she hugged me trying to not hit my battle wound. I hugged her back.

"Guys this might be the last time I get to say i love you all!" I started getting teary-eyed.

I then fell to my knees slipping from Jays grip and landing on the muddy ground below, there was a terrible nagging pain in my head which I finally gave into. I crouched into a ball tightening my eyelids together and clutching my head hoping it would stop but as much as I asked it carried on. I screamed as the pain started consuming my brain, It finally stopped and I opened my eyes to see I was standing up, and the others were in front of me but they all had fear plastered on their faces. I tried to ask them what was wrong but the words only came out as grunts and growls. My legs started carrying me closer to the group, I tried to stop myself but nothing worked.

"Guys run!!!" I yelled, but it came out as a heart stopping growl as if I was going to attack. Is this what it felt like to be a zombie? Only able to make noises but have no command over your body. This is horrible, all the zombies were making noises to warn us... I never thought of this, all those people only trying to help but never being able to. Sad reality!

I looked to see Apple hold the Saphire stone close to her mouth then say something to it. After Apple had finished speaking a white shine came from the stone, it then swirled to form a human, well girl, She had huge angel wings. She then threw a potion at me which made my body go limp making me fall on the floor, my eyes slowly closed leading me into darkness. My brain was awake but my bodies dead. Well asleep...

I used all my might to get my eyes open and it worked! They opened no problem to see everyone looking at me... I remembered the feeling of no control, so I tried to sit up to see if it worked or if I was still a poor zombie. And to my surprise I was sitting up looking at everyone straight away!

I'm back in the game! Yes!
