"THEY'RE HERE."

On tree line — from out of the mist skulk eight giant wolves, as wary and on-edge as the Cullen's, Bella, and the four unique girls were.

Clary's eyes immediately latched onto Paul's dark silver wolf and he approached her, lolling his tongue. He nudged her with his head as Seth approached Lizzie and stood beside her in his brown wolf form. Embry and Leah appeared out of nowhere, standing slightly behind Hope and Josie, and in their wolf form, nodded at the girls.

"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms," Edward stated, looking from Sam to Paul to Embry, and Seth.

"They came. That's what matters," Carlisle commented, smiling. "Will you translate?" He asked Edward who nodded. Carlisle moved slowly towards their pack. Sam-wolf, the biggest and blackest stepped forward. "Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them."

"They want to know how the 'newborns' is differ from us," Edward translated their thoughts.

"They're a great deal stronger than us, because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful—"Carlisle trailed off, glancing over every wolf. "—than in our first several months of this life." Carlisle nodded to Jasper to take over.

Jasper is initially uncomfortable with both the wolves and the attention, but stepped forward anyway.

"Carlisle's right." Jasper nodded. "That's why they are created. A newborn army, doesn't need thousands like a human army. And no human army could stand against them. The two most important things to remember are, first... Never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. The second... Never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that. And you will lose. Emmett?" He turned his attention to his adoptive brother. "Don't hold back."

"Not in my nature." Emmett charged towards Jasper like a freight train Jasper with impossible speed, but Jasper was a virtual blur. Emmett lunged several times, his strong arms grabbing at air. Jasper stopped long enough to speak. "Never lose focus. One more thing... Never turn your back on your enemy." Emmett lunged again with similar results, until suddenly he froze; Jasper has him from behind, his teeth an inch from Emmettt's throat.

Clary hummed, impressed as the wolves rumbled in surprise.

Every Cullen took turns sparring with Jasper, or pairing off against each other. They're all blurs, creating a violent but extraordinary dance.

Alice and Jasper spar, spiraling, twisting. Jasper launched at her but with her eyes glazed over, not looking at him, she sees his moves before he makes them. Out of nowhere, Alice is perched on his back; she kissed his neck. "Gotchya."

Edward and Carlisle attack one another, but Edward can read Carlisle's mind which gives him the advantage. He twirls beyond Carlisle's grasp, then slammed into him delivering a vicious body blow.

"Focus on speed, agility, keep your opponent off guard..." The wolves rose slightly, watching intently, itching to get into the fray but held back. "Use their momentum against them."

Clary grinned when it fell into a short silence. "Jasper," she spoke, smirking at the blonde vampire who turned to her, raising an eyebrow in question. "Fight me." She held out her hand, the palm facing upwards. She then waved her fingers at a 'come at me' way.

"No thanks, ma'am," Jasper told her, shaking his head.

Clary narrowed her eyes. "What did I say to you all those weeks ago?"

Jasper's lips twitched upwards slightly. "To not call you ma'am."

"That's right." The redhead nodded before twisted her wrist. Jasper was thrown to the side, hitting a nearby tree so hard that it shook in it's spot, almost falling over.

Lizzie couldn't help but let out a loud laugh. "You shouldn't say no to her and you definitely shouldn't underestimate her." She smirked. "Or any of us for that matter."

Jasper got up and dusted himself off. "Alright," he said, facing Clary who held out her arms in a 'come at me' stance. He blurred towards her but se easily muttered a spell under her breath and she jumped, flipping over him, and landed gracefully behind him. She used her werewolf strength, grabbed him from behind and then flipped him over onto his back, making him let out an almost noticeable grunt.

"I've been trained by my adoptive dad, a former vampire, a hybrid, and Hope's uncle Marcellus," Clary spoke, letting Jasper. "I've been fighting for my life longer than I can remember, so I know a thing or two about fighting and surviving. I guess it makes me a little dangerous but prepared for things like what is about to happen." She looked towards her best girls. "All four of us know how to fight. We've been trained our whole lives to put up with those who think they are greater than us. So, I know that we'll be able to beat those newborns without even practicing."

Lizzie smirked, her right arm looped with Josie's. "We aren't like you guys." She pointed to the Cullen's. "We aren't fast and we aren't made of marble, but you have two hybrids on your side and two powerful siphoner's who don't take nobody's crap."

Paul and Seth let out a small howl, almost in proudness and acknowledgment.

"Trust us," Josie spoke up. "And let us teach you a few things so that it's guaranteed that we all survive whatever is to come."

Clary made her way back to her girls and they all stood tall and strong.
