make quiet things heardCLARY WOKE UP in the middle of a cuddle fest. She was in between her girls. Hope had her head on Josie's stomach, while holding Clary's hand while Lizzie's head was resting on Clary's stomach. They weren't even covered by a blanket thanks to both Hope and Clary being slightly hotter than normal people.
There was a knock on the door that made the three girls who were still asleep, groan and move closer to Clary who looked towards the door just in time to see Charlie peak his head in.
His lips twitched up slightly before his brown eyes landed on Clary's hazel-green ones. He gestured to the hall with his head. "There is some people here to see you." He then paused before he went to walk away. "You should bring them downstairs with you."
Clary furrowed her eyebrows but nodded. After he left and shut the door, she looked at the witches and tribrid who were sleeping on her. She smirked and whistled loudly, making them let out small shrieks before they feel off of the bed, much like a domino affect.
Laughing and three girls screaming out, "Clary," was heard throughout the whole house.
Clary giggled and got out of bed before facing her three best friends. "Charlie said that we have some people waiting downstairs for us, so... let's get going."
The four girls quickly got ready before bounding their way downstairs and into the living room before freezing in their spots.
"Mom?" Clary asked, looking at her mother with wide, surprised eyes. Her hazel-green eyes then landed on Alaric. "Dad?"
Charlie shifted slightly at that one word before clearing his throat. He understood why she hasn't called him dad yet. It was because he wasn't there for most of her life, and he regrets it deeply. Seeing her now, seeing her all grown up makes him angry at himself for not contacting Emma.
"Girls," Alaric started, looking at all four girls with a soft look in his blue eyes. "We have informed Charlie about everything." Before the girls, more specifically, Clary, could react to his words, he began speaking. "We told him because we realized that no matter where we put you, you'll be in danger because of your supernatural abilities."
"What brought this on?" Hope asked, crossing her arms over her chest, her eyebrows furrowed and lips pursed.
Emma was the one who spoke up this time. "Because we heard about the Seattle killings. We did some research and found that whatever was attacking people was a different kind of vampires -- Cold Ones." She watched their expressions with calculating eyes. "But, you already knew about that, didn't you?"
The girls looked at eachother before a second before turning to the three grownups were looked ready to argue.
"To be fair, Bella is dating one of them," Lizzie spoke up, smirking, hoping for some drama. She always did love drama.
"What?!" Charlie exclaimed, his brown eyes wide. "That Cullen boy is a Cold One?"
"The good kind though," Josie spoke up, hoping to defuse the situation. "They drink animal blood and they go to school, and their adoptive dad is a doctor who takes care of people. They have great control, they haven't hurt anybody. The Newborns are the ones who was involved in all those attacks. The Cullen's worked against the Newborns with the help of us and the wolves."
"Wolves?!" This time, it was Ric who exclaimed his words. "There is wolves here, too?" He ran his hands over his faces. "Of course!"
"Dad," Lizzie snapped, not liking the way he was reacting at this new information. If he acted like this just learning about the wolves, then how will he react to finding out that all of his daughters were dating wolves. "They're nice and they're not like our type of wolves, anyway. They're actually called shapeshifters, not werewolves. They only turn when Cold Ones are near and they shift whenever."
"So, let me get this straight..." Emma trailed off. "We not only sent you to a place close to Seattle which was attacked, but we also sent you to a vampire and shapeshifter infested town. Great!" She exclaimed, pinching her nose. She's only ever wanted what was best for her daughter and now shes screwed up big time. "That's it, we're taking you back to the school."
"No," Clary and Lizzie denied at the same time, glaring at Emma who backed up in shock. "We're not leaving. We can't," Clary clarified.
"Girls, what are you talking about?" Alaric questioned, confused. "The school might not be the safest place, but—"
"No, buts," Lizzie cut in. "This town might be rainy more than half of the time and there might be dangers around every corner, but all of us..." she trailed off, exhaling deeply. "We've been imprinted on."
"What the hell does that mean?!" Ric exclaimed, looking from his actual daughters, to the redhead who he loves like a daughter, and Hope who he pretty much adopted when her parents died.
Clary sighed and stepped forward. "That means we quite literally found our soulmates and if we get separated for too long, it messes with our minds and makes us go all depressed and shit." She looked from her mother to the guy who raised her. "I'm sorry, but we're not leaving."
Hope smirked. "She's right. We aren't going anywhere."
Charlie cleared his throat. "I know I don't have much say in this due to not being in your life for so long, Clary, but I want you to be happy, and if you're happy here, whether that has something to do with me or not, you can stay, and so can your friends." He looked to Emma and Ric. "I know my place isn't that big, but I'm pretty sure I can do something with the attic and make enough room for the three of them."
Emma and Ric looked to eachother. They didn't want to leave their daughters behind, especially if it was going to be longer than they thought, but, if they were happy in Forks, they were willing to allow them to stay.
Emma looked to the four girls. "Okay, okay." She sighed and held up her hands when the girls started to squeal. "You can stay, only if you guys visit the school every once in a while and allow us to meet these boys... or girls, of yours so that we can get to know them."
Lizzie and Clary looked to eachother, amusement sparkling in their eyes. "They are boy, well, except for Leah," Lizzie said, her lips twitching up. "Seth is only a few weeks older than me, so, you don't have to worry about me being imprinted on by some pedophile."
Alaric made a noise in the back of his throat before looking to Clary.
Clary smirked. "Paul is eighteen, so he's only a year older than me, so no big age gap here," she joked, smiling up at the ex vampire hunter. "And don't worry, we haven't had sex and we're not going to until I'm ready." She and the girls laughed once both Charlie and Alaric chocked on their saliva.
Hope smirked. "Leah is nineteen, but I have always had a thing for older people." Her smirk only widened at Alaric's wide eyes. "It's actually about time we go over to their place because they're having a grillout later. You wanna join?" She then looked to Charlie. "You can, too, if you want."
Charlie cleared his throat and he blushed because he didn't like being in the spotlight. "I have nothing better else to do," He finally said after a moment of silence.
The girls all let out a small shriek in excitement. "Okay. We'll get ready and then we can all go together." They them ran up the stairs, leaving the adults to look at eachother with wide eyes.
"I'm sorry, Charlie, but you're going to have your hands full," Alaric apologized and he paused when they all three heard the girls laugh loudly, probably due to overhearing them.
Charlie couldn't help but chuckle. "Them girls and Bells is gonna be the death of me."
The three adults all laughed before they sat down and waited for their daughters to bound down the stairs.
