Distaste

66 8 13

I stare at the plate
Numb from taste
In a sorrow state
I lay awake

I don't want to eat
My stomach growls
For food, for meat

So I force myself
Bite after bite
It takes all my strength
And my might

But I'm not weak
Because I try
They don't understand
Ever meal is a battle cry

This poem is literally how I've been feeling recently. I just can't bring myself to eat.
