Chapter 16: Please Stay

Serenity's POV

Tumigil na ang ulan. Ang mga ibon ay nagsisimula nang humuni.

'Hays, inaantok pa ako!'

Gusto ko nang lubusang idilat ang mga mata ko ngunit ayaw pa nya. Unti unti kong binuksan ang mga mata ko at tinignan ang mga sinag ng araw na pumasok mula sa bintana. Naramdaman ko din ang lamig mula sa sahig. Nagsimula na akong magunat at naramdaman kong sumasakit ang aking balikat at likod.

'Ghad! It is not the way I slept in Joker's four posted bed!'

The scent if coffee run around the air. It hits my nose and the smell alone is enough to wake me up. I gently raise, thinking about the feeling of being woke up with my new friends. 

'Well I can say that it is better than to wake up to a bed that is totally not yours'

I noticed that Harley is just sleeping but Pam and Selina werent in the couch they were sitting last night. Probably one of them is on the kitchen.

I also notice that I have also a blanket pressumably they place it off to me while Im asleep. This simple gesture makes me overwhelm.

'Thanks to all of you, guys'

Stumbling while Im standing up; I headed to the kitchen and proceed to the table. A yawn escaped from my mouth and it feels that I rested much than I before. I estimated the time must be around 8am as of it is my waking time before going to work. I remember how I battle against my alarm. Pfft.

Speaking of, I think my work at the Asylum was pretty boring but now, I dont know but Im enjoying my new lifestyle here. Its so nice that I have a new friends in this new world Ive been thrown into. I guess you could say, that Im now im thr criminal world. Three of them are my friends and the fourth one had been kissed me. Was I becoming one of them? A criminal?

'Oh shocks! What am I gonna do? My life here is thrilling me and a part of me want more. How am I supposed to be get rid of it?'

If Jack didnt kidnapped me, I would be probably kissed Mark.. Oh gosh, Im imagining it!! Well, its all mistake and yet a blessing towards me from Joker.

Pam noticed me to the table. Pam also is the one who is making the coffee.

'Shems! Ang sarap ng amoy. Matagal-tagal na din akong hindi nakakainom ng kape. Puro gatas kase yung naiinom ko doon kila Jack eh'

She appeared to be cooking bacon, eggs and hotdogs. She even toasted a bread to a butter and my mouth cant stop watering.

"Wow",yan lang ang nasabi ko sa kabila ng pagtatakam ko

"Youre up early too, huh?",she said with a smile

''Where's Selina?",I asked

"Ahh.. Maaga syang umalis. Iniwan nya nanaman bang nakabukas yung bintana?",sambit ni Pam

"Yeah",sagot ko

"I always tell her to close the window after leaving",she sighs

"I noticed",sambit ko

Nagluluto sya ng itlog at bacon at talaga namang kumakalam na yung sikmura ko dahil sa bango ng amoy.

"Hey Pam",I call

She nodded her head for me to know she was listening

"Are you serious of what you said last night?",sambit ko

Waahh! Ewan ko ba kung bakit. Para kaseng gusto na lang dito. Should I take Selina's opinion? Lulubayan ko na ba si Joker---Jack? He's only interested in me thats why he kidnapped me. Paano kung nagsawa na sya? Argh!! Oh sya, kapag hindi sya pumunta dito at hinanap ako, he doesnt really care and dito na ako poreber! Period!
