Superman slowly started to wake up, the scenery being dark and blurry. He groaned softly before he finally had gained enough energy to look at his surroundings. It was a dark room that had a dim like bleeding through one side of the wall. He tried to move his arms by stretching them forward but failed to do so due to lack of energy to do so. In that moment, the door opened up behind Superman and the sound of metal boots clicking with each step he took made Superman flinch slightly. "Wake up Kryptonian, Destiny awaits you."
Superman looked up only to find a big muscular male that stood at 7 ft tall and had skin that resembled concrete. His red beady eyes stared down at Superman before he smirked to himself. "Who are you?" Superman asked weakly as one would sound when tired.
"I am the alpha, the omega, I am Darkseid. Everything that has happened as led up to this very moment. Meeting with Vandal Savage gave me the upper hand in compromising the human society with heroes." He folded his arms behind his back before stepping in front of Superman then he looked down at him. A sinister smirk formed on his face as Superman looked up at him, pure anger surging in his blood after he found out he was behind this. Just then, another man walked inside the cell with a Hitler like uniform, he looked human, long black hair with a beard. A scar that ran across his left eye, his boots clicked with each step he took. A smile formed on the new person's face.
"Who a-are you?" Superman asked while he grunted a bit, standing on his own two feet despite a kryptonite weight holding him down. The male laughed softly before he looked at Darkseid then down at Superman.
"I am a king, an immortal. I been here since the dawn of man, a simple cavemen until one night a strange meteor hit the Earth. I went to go investigate it and when I did, I absorbed the knowledge that was contained inside. I learned the secrets of immortality and over the course of time I was an emperor, ruler, assassin, general. Everything superior but as soon as men with red cape descended down I know I needed allies. So, during your fight in Metropolis I went to find the legendary mother boxes that the tribe of men hidden away and contacted Darkseid. We made a deal, if I handed him a kryptonian then he would let me have the Earth. So, It was me who infiltrated the government, set up a figurehead President and enforced the zero hero act to illegalize heroes. Phase one of my plan and frame you. Phase two, initiate Task Force X to hunt you all down so when you were vulnerable, we take you and now here we are." Vandal Savage then looked at Darkseid who was pleased at the results.
"To my surprise it worked and now time to initiate phase three Savage. Go speak to Granny Goodness, as she will aid you while I deal with the kryptonian." Vandal Savage bowed down respectfully before he exited the cell then Superman tried to punch Darkseid before he just fell down to the ground. "Trying to attack huh, how pathetic." Darkseid pulled his right arm back then punched him extremely hard in the face. Superman was barely even alive after such a hard punch but blood leaked out his mouth. Darkseid then walked around Superman with both his arms behind his back, Superman looked up at him while he was in the ground.
"Why? What do you want from me?" He groaned weakly.
"What do I want? I want the strongest champion to serve under me and be a general. With you, I can make that happen. You dont see the potential but you will."
Darkseid then smiled then he snapped his fingers, a pair of parademons came inside with a helmet in their hand. Darkseid nodded to them then they placed the helmet onto his head then it activates. The helmet transformed the scenery around them to a different scene, an apocalyptic world. A world by Darkseid. Earth was conquered by Darkseid and humans were forced to serve or die. All these horrific images flashed in Superman's head which made him release a horrific scream. The pain surged in his head sinxe the helmet was also trying to enforce dominance in his mind. Wonder Woman was killed by Superman and his regime.

After awhile, Darkseid took off the helmet and then watch the man of steel lay there weakly. "Are you ready for the mission, Kal-El of Krypton? To rule with an iron fist, and rule the Earth?" Superman looked at Darkseid then he stood up before kneeling.
"Yes, my lord. For Apokolips. For Darkseid." The corrupted Superman stated.
