Choosing

I wonder what it's like to have a special someone waiting by the class that you were recently in, to walk you to your next. Or to have that special someone with you to talk to for hours and never get bored. Or to just have one look at that special someone and they could easily make your day.

Scott is Kira's special person and Stiles is Malia's special person. Lydia doesn't really have no one in mind, and to be honest.. Neither do I. All though it shouldn't stop the fact that it would be nice to have a special someone.

But with all the werewolf and dead pool crap, I might as well be the new kid.

''Scarlett!''.

I jumped, my eye's looking everywhere until they landed on the short strawberry blonde in front of me.

''Um yeah?'' I asked, now paying attention, being as you can tell, I'm a person who is clearly not down to earth.

''You have no idea that you creeped out Scott and Kira just by zoning out in their direction'' She remarked sarcastically. I hope she's messing with me so I can stop getting lost in my thought's.

''Your joking right?''.

Her weight fell upon her right leg with her arms crossed over her chest as lines started indecting on her forehead from arching her eyebrows and her lips simply pursed.

''Does it look like I'm joking?''.

I sighed, placing my head in my small locker before saying, ''I'm a total freak''. In the corner of my eye, I still saw her purse her lips now forming into a mockingly smirk, looking at me as if I need some sense knocked into.

''Your the freak?''.

I snorted, as I decided to take my head out. That's when the bell rang.

''Ugh!'' We groaned in unison as I slammed my locker shut.

''Let misery take it's course'' Lydia stated. She linked her arms with mine, us taking step after step to our first class.

× × ×

I walked out of Mr. Yukimura's class, turning from the doorway only to be immediately bump into what felt like a brick wall. Thankfully, I didn't fall to the ground.

After stepping back a bit, I looked up and saw Scott.

''Oh sorry, your probably waiting for Kira to come out'' I apologized as I was gonna continue to make way to my next class but he grabbed my arm, stopping me from walking.

I turned to him as he spoke, ''Actually, I'm here for you''. I don't know why, but what he said made the inside of my stomach do flips. Maybe I'm getting sick..

''Okay?'' I said, but it came out more like a question.

''I've been meaning to ask, are you gonna stop?'' He asked once we started walking. No, not at all was I a little offended and taken back by the question.

He turned at the sudden silence, noticing I was kinda hurt judging by my facial expression.

''Not like that, I mean, are you gonna stop.. Tasking the dead pool?'' He asked with his voice tuned down, elaborating more, which made me relieved.. A little.

''Honestly.. I don't know'' I stated. It was true. I would stop for the sake of him and his pack, but I can't because of my family. Can you not see the type of predicament I'm in?

''W-What do you mean you don't know?'' He stuttered, confused yet anger sorta rising in his tone.

''I mean I. Don't. Know'' I repeat, enunciating my words louder and moee clear.

''You can't be seriously considering of going on with what you've been doing, are you?'' He questions, doing the little spasms habit Stiles tends to do when he starts to either freak out or panick.

I shrugged my shoulders, looking ahead instead of him. That's when I felt his eye's, piercing at me.

''You Can't Just Give Me One Word Answers!'' He snapped. Obviously that earned a few nosey looks from others in the hall.

''I'd rather talk about this later'' I suggested, about to walk faster but he grabbed my wrist, pulling me back so I can stay in place.

''It's either us, to stop the dead pool, or to continue fighting with the dead pool'' he muttered, so only he and I could hear. I snatched my wrist from his grip in complete shock.

''Oh so, I guess have to choose between a bunch of people and a list, yeah that's real fun'' I hissed with pure sarcasm tracing my tone.

''But if I was choosing, I think I'd know what I'd pick'' I stated lowly before walking off.

And this choice was clearly obvious.
