Okay, I have to admit. These past couple of week's have been the most depressing one's I've possibly ever have to go through.

I've slowly and discretely detached myself from the group and spend majority of my time at home or with Thomas.

Now don't get me wrong, Thomas is really sweet and understanding and tolerable to be around but after the little incident I had with Scott, it's been the hardest to get him out of my mind.

Not even Thomas could be much use for a distraction.

Although, as for Scott and Kira's relationship hasn't been informed much since I've isolated myself and I'd rather keep it that way.

My bare feet padded against the carpet flooring as I return to my neutral lit bedroom with a cup of orange juice in my right hand.

I come to a sudden and abrupt stop within a few meters away from my bedroom door when I see an unknown object sitting neatly at the front of my bed.

'I don't remember seeing that there when I first woke up..' I thought curiously.

Cautious steps were taken towards my bed after placing my cup at the corner of my desk.

I started to examine the rectangular white box more up close. Upon the top, had a note tape to it. I took the note, peeling the tape off along with it as I brought it up to my face.

Take this chance to be our night?

Beacon Hills High is hosting a Winter Formal tomorrow night and I was desperately hoping if nobody would ask me to go. That nobody being Thomas.

He's been hinting at it these last couple of days, and they've been even clearer since but I've been acting completely clueless.

Besides, I've already planned to be cuddled up to my discomforting thoughts while watching If I Stay on Netflix.

A smile slowly grew, as I tossed the note at a random spot on my bed, as I took the top off the box. I gasped at the sight of a sky blue dress, folded neatly in the box.

        ''He must be special.''

I jumped, my eye's immediately looking at my door, to see my mom leaning on it. My smile grew once again and I nodded.

''Yeah, I guess you could say that'' I mumble as I tune my attention back to the dress.

''Are you gonna try it on?'' She asked. I bit my bottom lip, examining the dress more. I nodded before taking it out the box, holding it by the straps, to show all of it.

The length was probably around the knees, and there's a lighter blue lace around the chest area. It was so pretty. I got up from my bed, the dress now laying in my left arm, as I walked over to the door, closing it on my mother.

''I'll just wait out here then!'' She yelled through the other side and you could literally hear her sarcasm. I laughed to myself, as I removed my top and pajama shorts. I opened up the small size zipper of the back of the dress, sliding it on.

I zipped it up before opened the door again, my mom leaning against the wall, and once she saw me, she gasped with a smile showing off her excitement.
