Your feet dragged wearily across the floor as you stepped through the doorway to your apartment after a long day at college. Well, it wasn't that long of a day, you only had three on-campus classes, though it felt like they'd dragged on for an eternity, especially because you hadn't been feeling too well.
An awful-sounding and persistent cough had bothered you for the latter half of the day and you could hardly speak, your voice hoarse due to your raw throat. Everything was fine in the morning, but as the day went on, your symptoms began appearing and only worsened as time passed. You were lethargic, you entire body feeling drained of energy as you dropped your bag in the small foyer, not in the mood to lug it all the way to your bedroom.

"Y/n?" Jimin's voice called from somewhere in the apartment.
You wanted to say, "Yes, I'm home!" but whenever you tried to speak, your voice came out in a scratchy whisper that made you cough.
Your ever-adorable boyfriend's head poked out from around the corner and a bright smile overtook his features, his round eyes squishing into little crescents.
"I missed you so much!" He thudded over and looped his arms around you in a hug, lifting you off the ground and spinning you in a circle before returning you to the floor.
There was no time to react as he peppered kisses all over your face which made you chuckle softly despite your current state. When he finally pulled away, he noticed something was off about your appearance: droopy eyelids, drained expression, and distant eyes.
"Lovely, are you okay?" He inquired softly, his pillowy lips turning downward as he placed a warm hand on your cheek.
"I think I'm sick." You croaked. "I don't know what it is, but I haven't been feeling well for most of the day."
"Oh no. My poor baby is sick." He cooed gently, caressing your cheek. "Your voice sounds awful, let me make you some tea. That should help soothe your throat. No, wait. Go change into some comfy clothes first. I'll get pillows and a blanket and then make your tea. Then we can snuggle up on the couch and watch movies together while you relax."
You smiled softly and nodded. "Okay."
Jimin was absolutely adorable. He was so frantic and concerned, it was kind of cute. It's almost as if he couldn't decide what needed to be done first.

You shuffled into your shared bedroom where you kicked your shoes off, not caring where they landed and took off your uncomfortable jeans that felt suffocating. You located a pair of black joggers in the dresser drawer and put them on, audibly sighing as you relished in the comfort of them, loving how baggy and cozy they were compared to your jeans.
Tugging your shirt off, you started perusing the closet in search of something extra comfortable. Just as you were about to settle for one of your printed tees, you spotted Jimin's very oversized olive green hoodie—the one that practically swallowed him whole and made him look oh-so-tiny. A smile spread across your face as you grabbed it and put it on, giggling at how big it was hanging off your frame.

As much as you didn't feel like it, you went to the bathroom to remove your makeup, knowing you'd feel better with a bare, clean face

As much as you didn't feel like it, you went to the bathroom to remove your makeup, knowing you'd feel better with a bare, clean face. The cool water felt refreshing on your skin as you rinsed away the foamy cleanser and makeup residue. It was so invigorating that you stayed there with the washcloth on your face for a few moments.

Now fresh-faced and donning much more comfortable attire, you shuffled into the living room to find pillows and blankets piled onto the couch, prepped and ready for you to snuggle into them. Changing directions, you stepped into the kitchen where Jimin was stood at the countertop finishing up your tea. He lifted his gaze, taking notice of you sporting his hoodie. A shy grin painted his pretty features as he looked down at the mug sitting in front of him, his cheeks dusted with a pink hue as he steeped the tea.
He then took a second peek at you, mumbling softly, "Cute."

You hobbled over to him and wrapped your arms around his slender frame from behind, burying your face into his back.
"You should be on the couch, sweetness. I'm sure you feel terrible right now, especially after being at college in this condition. You should go rest. I've got it all handled in here."
"I do feel horrible. My entire body feels drained and heavy, but I want hugs." You murmured.
"Aw. You need Jimin cuddles, don't you, lovely?" He cooed softly, finishing up the tea.
"Mhm." You hummed.

He took the mug and headed towards the living room with you still clinging to him like a koala, letting go only when you arrived at the couch. The both of you took a seat and the warm mug of tea was handed to you.
"Careful, it's hot." Jimin warned gently. "I read online that chamomile tea with honey is good for soothing an irritated throat."
"Thank you, love." You gave his hair a gentle ruffle, your hand lingering to smooth it back into place. "You're the best."
He chuckled and made sure all the pillows were stacked exactly the way you wanted, ensuring that you were comfortable before turning on the TV.
You set your tea on the coffee table and pulled the blanket over the both of you, snuggling into the couch cushions and resting your head on Jimin's shoulder. He took your hand in his and gave it a gentle squeeze, his thumb gently rubbing along your knuckles.

"Thanks for taking care of me, love."
"Sure thing, angel." He kissed your temple with the utmost delicacy, using his free hand to trace your cheek. "That's what I'm here for."
