It was pain nothing but pain.

I already know what situation he and I have, but I was rejecting the fact. we were pretending this feeling— we have to save this relationship, but by doing this we also lost ourselves from it.

I couldn't blame him for 8 years being together, it's a disappointment to just simply break up.

But I couldn't be like this— we can't fool ourselves forever.

It's all fake love anyways.

So I called him that night, he agreed and meet up with me.

"I love you so I'm letting you go."

After I said those words, he fell down on his knees and looked at me in disbelief. I gave him a smile but I couldn't contain my tears were overflowing cause of my emotion.

"I'm sorry." He said in a whisper as he gave me a tight hug, and that only triggered me to cry more. "I'm s-sorry." I blurted out in a shaky voice between my sniffing. I couldn't breathe at that moment I felt suffocated.

We both didn't know how painful this could be, It was that bad.
