Chapter One

The same alarm that wakes me up at 6:00am everyday no doubtfully woke me up again. Today is just like any other day, wake up, eat breakfast aka a smoothie like always, go for a run, take a shower, go for a photo shoot, have dinner, read for a bit then go to sleep. Nothing barely changes maybe I'll go out for dinner but usually not. I grab the smoothie from the blender and poor it in the cup I use daily. I take big sips of it while I walk back to my bedroom. I put my cup down and change from my sleeping tank top and short shorts into my black sports bra and running shorts. Quickly I tie up my Nike runners and place my cup in the sink on my way out of my apartment.

I jog down the stairs and turn onto my usual route, nothing new. Same is safe and... usual, I mean my life is pretty good so why go do something to screw it up.

I kick off my runners and place them in my closet. I turn my shower on the same as usual; more cold than warm because it's always refreshing after a run and why waste warm water when I don't even give a damn.

After my shower I throw my hair in a towel turban and walk out to get my clothes. Today I will wear my white and black horizontally striped crop top, with a pair of black high-waisted shorts, a rolled sleeve jean flannel, and my all black converse high tops. I walk back into the bathroom, put on the tiniest amount of makeup because it will just be redone later. I finally throw my platinum hair into a loose bun and put my teal head band in.

I take a quick glance at the clock hanging above the table and realize I should leave soon; so I throw my phone, wallet and keys into my purse, throw my purse across my shoulder, put on my sunglasses, put my music on and place my earphones in my ear; and walk my bike out the door and down the stairs. I hop onto my bike and cycle to the waterfront for a bathing suit shoot. I know what you're thinking, why a bicycle right? Well 1) I don't go to enough places for a car to make sense, 2) bicycles are better for the environment and my health but I don't care a lot about that, 3) to try to avoid rush hour traffic.

I pull up to the harbor; hop off my bike lock it to a bike rack. I am instantly greeted with my manager, Remy Kasson,

"Elsa, you're early...as always."

"You know me Remy, just wanna get the job done." I mumble the last part

"Here I'll show you to your station." She says as she grabs my wrist and pulls me over to a huge tent. We enter through a slit in the lining and are greeted by about ten individual stations; which include a stand with a mirror, and the stand filled with makeup, a salon chair and a rack of bathing suits.

Remy shows me to a station and it looks similar to all the other ones I've had in the past. I walk over to the rack of bathing suits and look through all of them. Almost all of them are retro swim suits.

"OMG your outfits for the shoot are soooo nice and pretty!!!!" a girl shrieks behind me

I turn on my heel and see a girl, who looks around my age give or take a few years, big green eyes and long, golden blond hair.

"Oh... hey... ya the clothing at these photo shoots are amazing" I reply

"Oh by the way I'm Rapunzel, but I prefer Punzie"

"Nice to meet you Punzie... my name is Elsa just Elsa" I say with a warm smile and stick my hand out for a shake.

Her station is right beside mine so we chat with each other as the stylists do our hair and makeup. Wow maybe a bit of change is good?
