Chapter Five

The taxi cab pulls up to the new, hip club. The music is loud not as loud as other clubs. It isn't the typical club, its less populated, quieter and a bit less rowdy. I think I like this place already. The huge pink flashing sign reads, "Le grand chateau". Even the name is better than all the other clubs in NY.

Earlier Punzie was explaining that she did a shoot for this place, and how her name was put on the list, they even said she could bring as many friends as she wanted whenever. So luckily we got to go straight in. As we entered I saw a medium sized stage that was empty at the moment, a whole lotta booths and a long, fancy bar. Good thing I didn't wear anything slutty because I would have awkwardly stuck out from everyone. Punzie leads Anna and me to a booth in the middle of the row and has the best seats for anything. Anna volunteers to get us drinks so she gets up and leaves the booth.

"So Elsa you never told me, is there and special somebody in your life?" Punzie asks

"Um definitely not... I'm not really boy crazy and I've never been." I reply looking at the wall behind Punzie.

"Oh... so you're lesbian?" she ask like that's a normal question to ask somebody.

"Uh.....NO I'm not lesbian I just have never liked anyone ever. Like I find guys attractive but I'd never date them.... if you know what I mean"

"Oh no I don't know what you mean, if you find a man attractive you always date him!!!!" Punzie shouts.

Ughhhhhhhh

"But I don't..." I say calmly

"Well you should definitel-"

"3 AMFs aka Adios Mother Fuckers for 3 girl ready to partayyyyyy!!!" Anna interrupts

She places the drink in front of me and I just stare at it. What is this one drink going to lead to? Before I can think of an answer Punzie and Anna yell at me for not drinking it.

"JUST drink it Elsa, the worst thing that can happen is you hook up with a guy and he gets you pregnant in the bathroom!" Anna shouts

"Woah okay well 1) that's pretty bad 2) I think worst things could happen and 3) I-"

"She's lesbian" Punzie interrupts.

Anna gasps

"I am NOT" I yell back

"Then prove it..." Punzie smirks

"How you want me to get a guys number or what?" I question with a hint of sarcasm

"Well actually I was thinking you should make out with a stranger.... but that will work" Punzie says while Anna nods in agreement.

"Ughhhh, fine I'll get a guys number." I sigh

Before I stand up I chug half my drink and shake my head from the strong taste. I'll need to be a bit drunk to pull this off.

I look around for a decent guy. Spotted, blonde short hair, maroon 3/4 length shirt that hugged his muscles, grey jeans with a brown belt and a more casual brown shoe. He had green eyes and a small tattoo creeping up his collar. Usually I don't like tattoos but I guess drunk Elsa does. I sit down on the bar stool beside him and order a gin & tonic. Seductively I take I slow sip while making eye contact with him. His eyes are locked on mine.

"So what is the name of the stunning girl sitting beside me?" he asks in a husky low voice.

I look behind him and then back at him, "I don't know but she looks like a Cassandra" I say referring to the girl on the other side of him.

"Oh she's funny and gorgeous" he laughs while tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Why thank you" I say while putting my hand on his wrist which is just above my knee. "So you on business or vacation?" I ask

"Excuse me?" "how'd you know?" he asks.

"Well you are way too cute and charming to be a New Yorker so..." I answer

"Funny, gorgeous and smart. i like it. But it's not important where I'm from." he smirks.

"Mysterious, I like it" I say smiling the most flirtatious smile.

"You might like a whole lot of other things about me" he flirts while slowly leaning in towards my lips.

Uhhh what do I do??? my drunk instinct kicks in... lean in and kiss him back. Once our lips touch the most passionate kiss I've ever had begins. mainly only because I've barely kissed anyone before; other than in photo shoots and my one boyfriend I had in grade twelve but that lasted 4 months only. I slowly pull away from his lips.

"And she can kiss too" he smirks.

"Oh there are so many other things I can do too" I flirt back while finishing my drink.

I glance at the stage and see Punzie and Anna singing their little drunk hearts out. Both of them are pretty good though, I'm sure they're amazing sober.

"Another drink for the lady?" The guy asks

"Yes please" I say back

"So I never got your name?" he questions me

"Ah right... well the name's Elsa unless you're a serial killer/stalker" I joke or hopefully it's a joke

He chuckles,"well then Elsa, pleased to meet you" he says kissing my hand

I let out a little giggle," And what is the name of this sweet gentleman?

He looks around, and then points at himself," oh you mean me, well in that case my name's Parker"

"Ooo a modest man, it's been a while since the last time I've come across one of those." I laugh.

Parker laughs too. "Well the pleasure is all mine" he bows

"Wow so what does this 'Parker' do" I ask using quotation marks.

"Why this 'Parker' is a graphic designer for UGAD or United Graphic Ad Designs"

"Really, I've worked with your company a few times." I reply

"Hmm. really let me guess, you're a model?" he says

"Yeah! how'd you know?" I question eagerly.

"Well, what else would a smokin' girl like you be doing" I feel redness reach my cheeks

"Why than-" I get interrupted by a thump and I turn around and see Anna lying on the floor by the stage. She just fell off. I laugh in my head but tell Parker that, 'that's my que to leave'. But first he quickly scribbles down his number on a napkin and hands it to me saying, "Elsa, maybe I can treat a beautiful girl such as yourself to a nice dinner, and maybe we could be sober." I laugh and nod my head but respond,"I'm sure there is tons of beautiful women in... Virginia?".

"How'd you kn-"

"I shall save that secret for that dinner later?"

Then I ran over to my friend now sitting in the same spot holding her head.
