Lance smiled warmly down at the blond haired girl laying in the hospital bed. Her tan skin faded lightly for the years she's been stuck in the sleep like state, reduce to pale unhealthy skin. The bed feeling cold, the blankets must've been itchy and her body uncomfortable for laying in same spot for years on end. He looked at her frail form, so tiny in that huge hospital bed. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was slow, but steady letting Lance know she was indeed still alive. He walked over to sit next to her the chair close to her bed, but not far away yet enough to give them both space.

He put his hand on his sisters cold hair, brushing the corn yellow strains out of her face and onto the sides. The hair a little greasy, but not as much to think the nurses haven't been giving her baths and basic hygiene. He wished he could see her brown eyes again, the color like chocolate which was her favorite reward when she did a good job training. He could remember he squeal of laughter when Rosalyn would bring her treats for being good, even when she was upset she would sneak her the bar of candy. He smiled down at the memory of his sisters happiness, she always had the most contagious laughter. He looked back at her pale skin, he hated the way it was slowly losing its natural tan. He wanted to see her tan kissed skin again, not skin that looked like death was upon her. Her sighed as he caressed the cold skin, he shook his head at the thought of his sister dying.

"A lot has happened since I've came to visit last, it seemed like years actually yet it was only a few months ago. I'm sorry Rosie I haven't been able to come visit." Lance apologized, teaching his hand to put his own on her soft cold ones.

"I've adopted two kids, they're the sweetest kids you'll ever meet! Lana is a small six year old ball of energy, she never runs out of happiness and could talk a mile a minute. She kinda reminds me of you when you were little, you used to be social and smiled even when the world was crumbling." Lance smiled and chuckled remembering the ways his sister used to act. Thought of how many times he had to pull her away from talking to some stranger when they were on missions of their own.

"Then there's Danny, his birthday was the just other day. He just turned eleven and he's quite the opposite of his sister. He's less social and you have to go the extra mile to be able for him to trust you. It's all worth it in the end, he's such a sweet boy and doesn't matter what the subjects about he'll be there. He comforted me during the rough days, I even told him about our secret. He wasn't afraid of me, it was nice to see someone right after I tell them not afraid. He kinda reminds me of myself, way too much of myself actually it's almost terrifying." Lance chuckled, he smiled at Rosa's peaceful face squeezing her hand tightly. She was so calm, when she was awake she would always be aware of her surroundings. It scared Lance at first, he didn't know what was going on. What Lotor did to them when they were younger, Lance wonders if Allura even knew about this. She always tries to change the subject or stayed away from the boss when he was around.

He thought it was just a girl thing, being a little timid girl after all, he thought she was being shy. But now that he thinks about it, she was only like that around Lotor until she was told about that mission.

"This is your sister?"

Lance looked behind him and saw Keith, he was leaning against the door frame looking inside and twitching looks between him and the small girl sleeping on the bed. Lance turned back around, he didn't wanna look him in the face. He thought he could keep his past and real identity away from Keith, enough to keep these feelings away. He was his target, but yet his heart felt so sad at the thought of Keith going away too.

"Yeah, this is Rosa." Lance answered after a couple minutes. He heard a hum and footsteps getting closer, Keith pulled a chair and sat beside him and he looked over. The way Keith was looking at the Cuban, he didn't know how to feel. It's not like he didn't like the guy, he was so good looking. He body fit so amazing in those clothing, and his laugh drove the man crazy. Lance shook his head, he was in the hospital with his sister that's in a fucking coma yet he's thinking about Keith.
