The drive to the hospital drove Lance almost to the edge, he kept drumming his fingers on the passenger side dashboard. Making a random beat in hopes of calming is fast beating heart. He didn't know why he was so nervous to finally see his sister, they haven't seen each other in probably years. He should feel happy that his sister is awake and waiting for him in the hospital ward. But he couldn't feel the nervousness bubbling in his stomach, the feeling increasing as they got closer to the building where Rosa was held.

He held his gaze outside the window and looked at the tall buildings and houses zooming by them. Wishing he could be normal like people were inside them, normal people with normal jobs and normal lives! None of this would've happened if the two of them didn't get picked up by Lotor. His name felt so weird saying now that he was dead, the man that treated them like family. The man they thought as an older brother figure betrayed them. The man always preaching about betrayal being the worse punishment by god, but he did it in the end. It didn't make sense at all really, but now that he was dead Lance really did miss him.

Lotor raised them, brought the duo into their home and treated them like the closest thing to family both Rosa and Lance ever had. Rosalyn being a mother to them, always making sure they were fed and their injuries were hurting them when they got home from training. Lotor being there to protect them, always making sure they improved, not holding back once. It was almost pathetic how the man betrayed them, stabbing the once close family in the back for business. Leaving poor Rosalyn alone to raise the baby alone, the child not having a father just because of a simple file. Family always came first, Rosalyn drilled that into their heads from the beginning. But right now it didn't feel like family, it hurt Lance to see the man he once called family so far gone in rage and determination.

He felt a hand on his shoulder bringing him out of his deep thoughts. He turned to see Keith's worried face looking back to him, Lance reached his hand to his shoulder to but his own hold on top of Keith's. Giving him a small pathetic smile, trying to convince both himself in the boy that he was indeed alright. But really he didn't know how to feel, seeing his sister and explaining everything that happened throughout the years she was in her deep sleep. The deep sleep due to Lotor, due to the man he loved, the man that Rosalyn loved, and even the man who Rosa loved. They loved each other, bringing each other up when the others were down. But now everything's changed, Lance didn't seem to like the change at all.

He felt the car stop and looked around, he saw the sign that read memorial hospital at the top of the building. His heart racing, but this time it wasn't nervousness. Instead it's replaced but excitement, excited to see his sister after so long of being apart. He looked over at the people in the car, Shiro felt his phone buzz and pulled it out. He read the message carefully and looked up at Keith, Lance, and Rosalyn.

"Adam and his squad brought down the other places where Lotor hide for most of the time. Some of his crew surrendered and are either in the interrogation rooms or cells. Adam's just waiting for us to get Rosa settled." Shiro informed to the group, the three nodded and Lance looked back to the hospital.

"What's up bubs? Shouldn't you be more happier to see your sister? She's been waiting a long time for you." Rosalyn looked at Lance, a sad smile on her face.

"I should be, I am thought. I'm just nervous, we haven't seen each other in forever. What if she's mad at me for taking years to find out that Lotor was all behind this?" Lance said, he weaved his fingers through his hair and sighed. He leaned back in his seat and looked out the window, not bearing to look at anyone without crying.

"You won't find out until you see for yourself, of course she might be a little mad. It's Rosa we're talking about, when isn't she mad about something! But she's your sister, blood or not. She loves you more than anything and I know she's ecstatic to see you." Rosalyn said to the boy, he smiled back at her through the window. He nodded his head and reached for the door handle.

"Well let's get the party on the road, knowing her she's getting impatiently down giving the nurses a hard time. I don't want her getting arrested when she just got out of a coma." Lance laughed, the brother nodded their heads and Rosalyn chuckled knowing it's something the younger girl would do. Shiro locked the car as they made their way into the building, the smell of alcohol wipes and the cold air made Lance frown. He hated coming to hospitals, he only needed to when Rosa was in the coma. It was cold and lonely, but now he was actually kinda excited to be here.

"Axca is bringing the kids down and they're almost in town. You have five minutes tops to get all the yelling and crying out the way." Shiro said, Lance looked unimpressed at the taller man. He put his hands up in surrender at the boy, Keith nudging him in the side for the comment. They made their way down the hallway, Shiro leading the way to the room since he was the only person that knows where she was relocated after Lotor set her free.

Lance stopped at the door, he didn't know if he should knock or just walk in. His hands felt clammy and his heart was racing again with nervousness. He looked at the group behind him and they smiled at him with support.

"I'll have my time with her later, for know it's all you. We'll have our little family reunion later when the kids come to meet their aunt." Rosalyn smiled at him, she put her hand on his shoulder for support. Her other hand going down to her bulging stomach. He nodded and took a deep breathe getting ready to go in, the group gave him thumbs up and smiles.

He opened the door quietly, the room was bright and he felt bad for his sister. Having to wake up in a bright room just after sleeping for years, he could into hear the curses she threw out when she woke up. Lance looked at the bed and saw the girl sitting up in bed. Her blind hair messy and her skin looking a little more darker than before. Her weakly pale skin nowhere in sight, only her healthy tanish skin which made Lance happy. Her head turned at the sound of the door opening, her brown eyes taking in the sight of her brother.

She only stared at him, looking at him like he was just some stranger off the street. Analyzing him, taking in everything from his height, to the function of his face. Lance could only look back at her, trying to find any words to voice out the girl.

"You fucking idiot, if you don't get your ass over here right now before I get it you're not gonna like it." Rosa spike up, Lance looked shocked at the choice of words she had. But nonetheless he walked over to her bed and quickly rapped his arms around her. Rosa doing the same, digging her face in the shoulder of her brother.

"I miss you so much sis, you have no idea how hard it was ever since you were gone." Lance voice cracked, he tightened his grip on Rosa. She only hugged the big tighter, not caring the IV's in her arm was starting to hurt from the pressure.

"How long was I out?" Rosa asked, she kept her head in Lance's shoulder. Lance rubbed her back and huffed our, he knew she would have questions. He thought he was ready for this, but all the inside pep talks didn't pay off.

"A few years, ever since the mission. The drug bust, we all thought you were hurt. But Lotor was behind it all." Lance said, Rosa hummed staking still for a second, but shot up the next. Lance looked at his sister with concern, hoping nothing was wrong with her.

"Lotor! He did it, I found out things about why we were tasked to that mission. He was gonna kill us as bait, he was gonna hurt you. I took the file and put it in a safe, it had everything he ever done. Every transaction and murder, even with us! I'm just so glad you're safe, I don't know what I would've done if I woke up and found out I lost you!" Rosa said, tears welled up in her eyes and reached out for her brother's hand.

"Well, nothing happened. We're here together finally, and I have so much to tell you sis." Lance smiled, he heard the door open and the two midgets walked though the door with Keith, Shiro, Adam, and Rosalyn. He wished his two best friends were here, but unfortunately he couldn't rope them into this. He loved them more than life, and he was glad to call them his best friends. Lance smiled and looked around the room and saw everyone he's grown to love. Yes, even Adam even though he's a dick sometimes. To the little kids he calls his own and the love of his life.

To think, he was supposed to kill the little family he opened his heart to. Happy now that he has a little family to call his own, a dream he's had ever since he was a child.
