Lovestruck [ON HOLD]

Chapter 2

I wake up to see Melanie's bed empty which I am kinda glad because I get to have a shower alone, but I do really need some company around here. I undress and step into the shower, it's warm against my back.

I finish from the shower and straighten my hair and add some makeup, I grab my books for the day and head of to media. I see Ashton standing in the doorway of Luke's room and I walk over to them, " hey Ash," I say to him, "hey Mads," he replies with a simple hug, "what classes do you have today?" Hey asks me. "I have media,history sport and drama." I reply "wow you have a lot, I only have 2" he replies. As I am about to leave luke opens the door from his room and surprisingly grabs my wrist and pulls me in, he then slams the door so Ashton can't come in, "when were you going to tell me that you were friends with Ashton?" He asks me "since I got here, why?" "He likes you" I freeze and try to speak but I can't. "We're just friends" I manage to say.

"I know but, he can go a little bit too far." Luke replies, I nod and open the door to see Ashton's face In shock "i don't like her!" Ashton says while blushing, he must of heard our conversation "sure you don't" Luke laughs back, "come on Maddie let's go to class." He says angrily to luke, even though he is meant to say it to me but, whatever.

I walk to my class with Aston and he stays quite, it's kinda a bit awkward at first until he says goodbye to go to his own class. "30 mins later" Our class finished and I walk out from history, we were studying Greek mythology. As I walk out of class I see luke, Michael and Melanie standing in the doorway, "Hey how was you first class?" Melanie asks me, "yea it was good," I reply to her. "Are you still up for dinner?" Luke ask me, "yeah!" I say back to him. Oh lover boy!" Michael yells to luke, "shut up, I'm just showing her around Melbourne." Luke tells Michael, we all leave together and Melanie tells us about her trip to America.

It's almost 6:30 and Luke has just knocked at my room door. I am adjusting my dress and I grab my phone and purse from my bed and walk to the door, as I open it luke is standing in the doorway, his hair is pushed back and he is wearing a dress shirt with jeans, I'm glad he didn't dress up too much, he doesn't need to really.

"So were are we going tonight?" I ask Luke "waterfront" he replies "I haven't been there before," I tell him. "Well that's good, I heard it's really nice." He tells me. We pull up in front of a nice restaurant with a massive waterfall it covers the entrance, "how do you get inside?" I ask Luke, "watch!" Hey says to me and hold my hand tight and pulls me close to him so we're standing really close. Luke steps on a bright mat on the floor right I front do the water fall and a gap the size of a door appears in the waterfall, so we walk through the waterfall without getting wet. "That was so amazing!" I tell Luke, he smiles happily and grips me tighter.

We sit down at a booth and order our meals, it only take 5 minuets for the food to come out, "they have very fast service here." He tells me, "I see that," I tell Luke back. We eat our dinner and talk for ages, Luke tells me about his family and his messed up past, and I tell him about mine. We have very similar things In common, like how both of our mums died, and we are the only child in the family, our favourite books and movies, and heaps more. We end up leaving Waterfront at about 10:00 and Luke drops me back to Uni. I hug him goodbye and make my way to my room, as I open the door my mouth drops.
