James was driving to his house, it was a cold foggy day in LA. James was trying to get to his house before it became the new year.
He definitely didn't want to start the new year in his car. That definitely wouldn't be good and fresh for him. He was going home to the people he loved. Specifically one person.
Grayson bailey Dolan. The one he loved so much. He was gonna tell Grayson that he loved him. At least that was the plan for James.
Thinking abt it now, made James speed to his house, where the sister squad was waiting for him. James walked in only to be pushed into the kitchen for a glass of champagne.
Emma was wearing jean shorts and some of her new merch with a HAPPY NEW YEAR mini hat. Grayson and Ethan has happy new year glasses on and a glass of champagne.
James walked in, already feeling nervous abt telling Grayson. Grayson and him had been dating for abt 7 months already. He was nervous to say the three important words. What if Grayson didn't love him back?
The clock read 11:45, plenty of time for James to get changed.
James POV
It was 11:45 and I decided to change quickly into some blue jean short shorts and my black Balenciaga jacket. I looked at my makeup, checking if anything was wrong.
I walked down the stair quietly, hearing my heels clack quietly down the stairs. Emma smiles at me, handing a glass of champagne to me.
I sip it slowly, feeling it wash down, easing my nervousness. Grayson comes over to me, slowly rubbing my back. Obviously he could tell I was feeling nervous.
I look at the clock, it read 11:55. I slowly starting to become more tired of waiting to tell him but I just kept silent. I went to get food hoping that it would calm down my nervousness.
I went outside for a second, seeing the stars brightly shine in dark sky. I sigh, I love Grayson. I want to stay with him forever. But I'm afraid to say those three words aloud.
I can only say them to myself alone.
I love you Grayson bailey Dolan . I say to myself, see why can't I say it to him? Is something wrong? Am I afraid?
James! Come inside! Ur gonna get cold! Ethan yells, closing the door. Ok James, you love him, you love him, you love him, right?
I should stop before I stop myself from saying the words at all.
Walking inside, I see the clock reading 11:59. I gulp and walk over to the Dolan twins and Emma. Grayson smiled at me comfortingly as he grabbed me by the waist.
As soon as the tv announced it was 2019, everything felt like slow motion. I slowly turn myself to Grayson, looking into his eyes and I feel my lips move.
I love you. It felt like fireworks exploded inside of me when he smiled and said I love you too James.
That's when we kissed, slowly coming back to reality, feeling every part of his body. This was a new year for me starting with I love you.
