Tattoos

Grayson and James are sitting on the beach and James decides they should get tattoos.

James layer against Grayson as they sat still in the sand. The ocean breeze blowing through Grayson's hair. James was looking at the tattoos that Grayson had on his leg. He traced each one of them as Grayson smiled down at him.

That's when James had an idea. "Gray?" Grayson looked down at James and said "yes babe?" Ruffling his hair a little.

"What do u think about me getting a tattoo?" Grayson raised his eyebrow, "James don't you have a lip tat already?"

He nodded before his lip down to the tattoo, sister. Grayson loved that tattoo, it was a favorite of his. Biting that lip and seeing it made him feel much more special.

"I wanna get another one. I want one of your initials." Grayson chuckled, he loved when James wanted to share everything with him.

Grayson had so many tattoos on his legs, and his ankles and feet. He did want another tattoo, and this was a great opportunity for it.

"Where would you put your tattoo baby?" James blushes when he was called that. He wanted everyone to see it, but he also wanted it to be somewhere only Grayson could see.

"Where my heart is? Or my wrist?" He said. Grayson nodded, he knew exactly where he would get his tattoo.

So that's what they decided, James would get his on his wrist and Grayson would get his on his chest.

When they went to the tattoo shop, Grayson did his first. The tattoo artist asked where he wanted it.

Grayson pointed to his right pec and that's where it started. JCD with the Roman numerals for 23. JCD XXIII.

The day James was born. That surprised James more than ever. But maybe it was something personal to Grayson.

James got his tattoo, the initials for Grayson. GBD XVI. Sixteen.... what a lovely number.

Even if they did break up on the future, they would always remember their first love.
